Mod is working for me apparently but trees don't seem to give wood logs? I cut some and want to build a wooden cabin but my people don't bring the logs to the house. Do i have to prepare them somehow?

Followed instructions and unsubbed to all other mods. Fresh install of the game, fresh start, game continuously crashes. Trash mod.

My rig isn't a potato either, and it still took a solid 30 seconds to progress. So go and stare at a wall for 2 minutes. Go on, set a timer, I dare you.

Also do the standard disable all other mods, and make sure all parts of the mega mod are in order, and above all other mods (which should be disabled). eg:

- top of mod list-
mm9 part 1
mm9 part 2
mm9 part 3
mm9 part 4
mm9 part 5
mm9 part 6
mm9 part 7
- all other mods, disabled -

I was able to load this series of mods. It took time to reload after selecting the mods and also on starting a new game.

For some reason this doesn't work on my gaming PC but worked when I tried it on my parent's cheap laptop lmao. I had to go back to megamod 8 on my PC

Yup; I certainly appreciate the effort that has very clearly gone into this opus of an update but it simply doesn't work.

I've been told in Banished discord that this version causes crashes, and the proper version should be downloaded from the discord.

same i tryed to load from steam and wont load with this mod ..... shame was lookingforwards to it

game won't load with this enabled :(

Thanks for the mod, and the effort, I enjoyed it while it lasted, but giving up now..always the same, start a new game, play for a long time, saves start crashing no matter what..start over. Going back to regular CC.

This mod worth using? or is it still riddled with bugs (based on the thread, etc)?

im having a problem with tree textures staying even after the tree has been chopped down, i have 2 of these in one playthrough, i can build over them but the texture doesnt go away no matter what i do, can somebody please help me?

Obviously with this number of mods in one pack, its hard to keep track of the mods and what breaks and when, so just be patient and support the modder if you want better results.

I installed all mods and trying to use it after restart. My game and also steam crashed.

How stable is this version now? I read many comments about crashes or memory problems.

To piggyback off of the instructions to download from the blackliquidsoftware website, make sure you get the right version, the version on the download page is old as of me writing this. Go to the forum's download link. The current latest version as of this message is 231224.

Kept crashing every time I used the pasture.

everybody who got the issue of the game not starting:

1. Download the newest mod version from the developers page "blackliquidsoftware dot com"
2. Go to the Banished game folder and delete the old mega mod files from the WinData folder
3. Extract the downloaded mod into the WinData folder

The game should now start again :)

Extreme load times both before and after main menu. After almost 10 minutes the light on my PC was constant instead of blinking probably meaning it was stuck in a loop. Tried several times then gave up. Too bad because it seemed like it was going to be great.

Think it needs to be updated? tried to run the newest version of this mod on the site and it crashes my game, tried the steam version, it refuses to let my game play.... am i missin something?

I just want to say thank you for making this mod for so long. I see a lot of complaining and while that's absolutely fair, I want you to know that we know it's hard work to be a modder. I hope you're doing well and I hope you'll be able to find the time and motivation to work on the issues :)

Tried a few versions over the years, this one has a lot of things in it so yeah loading is a lot longer. I do have some crashing issues sometimes when I try to stop the game, but the worst for me is :
1- workers not working even if they have all the resources available (like blacksmiths not making tools, just idling), building not being build, materials not being brought to construction sites...
2- the "priority" tool not working... I need to cancel everything if I want something to be done in priority.
With these, I can't keep on playing, it just makes it unenjoyable :(
Will wait for next versions hoping it will fix, but will uninstall for now.

Its a shame because this mod clearly used to work well but yeah I'm just like many of the commenters who report that in recent months merely *subscribing* to these mods prevents the game from even launching and it just has a memory leak (app not initiating but in task manager it slowly just uses more and more RAM until maximum regardless of how much RAM you have)

I'm having to reinstall the entire game as a result. Minor annoyance but sometimes that comes with the territory of modding.

I had a similar problem, though I'm not sure if it had anything to do with this mod. I decided to play the game again after a long break, so I reinstalled it, but it wouldn't load. The process would run, but it would just keep grabbing more and more memory, without actually loading any data from my drives. I unsubscribed from all the mods and reinstalled the game again, but to no avail. But after uninstalling the game again, I did notice that there were some leftover files in my C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Banished folder, and after deleting those and reinstalling the game it now works without issue, though it took it good two minutes to reload when I enabled the mod pack.

Game doesn't even start with this installed..

Game crashes if i build a farm for crops or animal farm. i can build it but if i try to interact with it game dies.

Crashing every load.

I finally got this mod to work and have noticed that one of my favorite mod additions is no longer included. Is there a reason why the Pirate Dock wasn't added? Not the same at Smuggler's Cove, btw. It was a small unit on land with a long dock that led to a pirate ship. Either it wasn't added, or I can't find it in the sea of mods. Any help would be appreciated. TIA!

As soon as i build food trader and food trader come in game crashes.

I loaded game again and this time there was no DS storage in options. I have not changed active mods,maybe a separeta mod for DS Storage was on and got auto disabled on new load. I can play game now without problems. It takes a bit longer to load but it works fine.

The part 5 or part 6 disallow the game to load for me very frustrating.

@SIK Same happend to me. I have Acer Nitro 5 and i could load a game but as i clicked on DS barn the game froze.

Yup game crashed for me too. I was able to load it all up and start a game but then when I opened up the build options for a DS barn the game crashed.

Can't even get it to load. Put it in the recommend order and it shows they all conflict with each other.
