i think u should make it so ragdolls, welds, ropes, wires, etc save because currently they do not with checkpoints

Id resetting bug still occurs, but it works if you use the context menu as you suggested.

checkpoint id resetting should be fixed, let me know if it's not working for you lot :steamthumbsup:

workaround i've found is to set the id through the context menu properties, that seems to be working at least (hold c, right click on a checkpoint, properties, id)

Quick followup, even with just two checkpoints at the start and halfway points of the course properly ID'd as 0 and 1 it still doesn't seem to be working. I dunno, just seems janky as a whole somehow.

I think I've figured out the cause of that, actually, at least on my end it seems like modifying checkpoint IDs causes random other ones to reset to 0. Doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason to it, but I'm running through my course and setting all the IDs then checking them and like three of the nine are 0 when I quite expressly did set them properly, and trying to fix it just makes it even worse with the other ones. Even deleting and replacing them all doesn't help, so it's not a problem with saving/loading, I don't think?

have you guys been setting the checkpoint ids for each one you place? it doesn't do it automatically right now :(
also the melonify thing would be great i agree, just requires me to sit down and put the effort in to make it lol

Agreed with below comments, doesn't seem like checkpoints are being loaded. All placed props and spawnpoints persist just fine, but checkpoints just don't show up.

Unrelated, I'd also like to request a "melonify" button on the tool menu so you can test out parts of your course and see if it's traversable without having to go through all the effort of loading into Melon Race proper to do it.

checkpoints don't seem to be working properly
