Glad you liked the mod!
When I made this, all I knew about the enemy is that it was a monster that looked kind of like a rat.
There was actually a custom model made for this mod to resemble the beast but it took a long time to model and there wasn't enough time to integrate it.

so the ghoul fits the bunker level well because it's what lambert was supposed to transform into

it also ironically works well because a theory of the stalker aka lambert is that it's a mutated ghoul from the tainted water that be infected by the gases, sharpnel, and dirt of the war

Try verifying game files. It could be a million things. I left some instructions in the description of the mod.
Hopefully that works.
Generally speaking all of the code is inside of one map so there's no reason it should crash before you load the map.

everytime i try to launch it my game crashes what do i do?
