PLEASE change it from comparing RGB to comparing HSV, it'll look WAY better for more complex palettes I promise.
let us use png files instead of the dumb config crud, I literally made a python script to convert from a .pal color palette to a full config file. ik there's a Palette.png but it seems to get replaced by the config every time for me, maybe change the folder so that it holds all the Palettes as PNGS as presets instead of having to change it every time. (maybe still be able to add em with the config for the little jimmies at home.)
also fix for 1.4.4 pls (::

using my own palette seems to either corrupt that png or replace it with the autogenerated corrupt png...
no other mods are enabled
also I'd love to see being able to have multiple palettes saved and to be able to hotswap em' (or even crossbreed em'?)
This PC > Documents > My Games > Terraria >tModLoader >ModConfigs
"AnyPaletteShader_PaletteConfig.json"
Each string of numbers under "Palettes" corresponds to a color code in RGBA format, having something there to start with to copy and paste and edit seems optimal
With this I have no problems, a wonderful mod with a solid form of configuration albeit hard to find
just simply add more than one color using the mod's config
Stop asking
I love this mod, and would love to be able to use it more effectively, but I understand if it is not a possibility.
Something I've noticed is that it supports well monochrome and 2 tone palette but if you start adding more nuances the way it applies the colors seems to be more random than trying to apply the nearest color
Maybe adding more control on how the colors are choosen would be useful (like a tint / contrast / saturation control)
Something else that would also help is being able to imput text for the colors in addition to selecting them with sliders, that would make copying easier (even though tbh I have been editing the config file manually to test palettes
Last thing, it would be nice to be able to save multiple presets for easy switching
This is an awesome idea and I hope this can get developed further, thank for your work !
the issue is that i need to somehow gather all stuff from it and visualize. might run into same issues as tmod workshop has
Running off your previous comment about the pallete workshop, what if you hooked it up to an existing database like lospec . com? That way server costs wouldnt be an issue. I have no idea if this is doable or viable, just throught I might throw the idea out there in case.
Regardless, it's still an awesome mod! Thanks again hehe
