+1 to this breaks your pause menu, don't use this mod

Unfortunately even while using a controller, the pause menu doesn't show up.

Hey, i noticed other people have already said, but this mod breaks the Pause Menu, if you could fix it it would be amazing! i love this mod and not being able to use it is really annoying, no pressure, but i would really appreciate a fix!

Hello, this mod functions improperly in the latest update of PlateUp, version 1.2.0 (released on August 8, 2024). The mod breaks the game by interfering with the Escape hotkey by disabling it from being able to open the pause menu.

I tested it, running with only this mod and the dependency mod, HarmonyX, with no additional mods used. Me and a friend were playing the game that used this mod from a collection we played together in the past, and didn't have this issue before now.

@DntSh00tMeThere That's not the mods fault, thats standard game behavior. If your miliseconds away from failure and save and quit to HQ, that save will erase itself. There's a sliver of time that passes after you select to save and return to HQ, and if you happen to fail during that sliver of time there's no real helping it.

twice now i am on overtime i use restart day it take me to headquarters i lost the save and no franchising

Can you ensure you're using v1.2? You can try to unsub and resub to the mod to grab the updated version. I'm not hooking into any start day event anymore so I'm not sure what could be causing it unless you still have the old version of the mod.

If after updating it still doesn't work and removing my mod makes it work then let me know and I can try to figure out whats going on again.

Thanks for the updated Mod. Unfortunately it looks like on of my save files are still stuck and unable to start the day. The Start Day and Start practice are being shown right after loading the game. Would you be able to fix this or is that game lost?

Yeah, I would love to get a fix. Love this game, but it's annoying to play a good run where you already planned ahead and lose due to a mistake or even a bug.

Me and my friend also had the day not starting bug in multiplayer and singleplayer, removing this mod allowed us to play again

the game was just updated and i was unable to start the day until i removed this mod. there could be a fix needed.

Thank you very much! I enjoy this game so much more with this mod!
Now I'm able to play and explore the game without fear of losing all progress due to a single stupid mistake!

Suggestion for name change as I feel it can be confusing "Restart Day" would be great and straight forward in the menus. Thanks for this.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I haven't played it again with your mod, but this would be game changing! Late game this game turns into a the most infuriating game of "remember to set up everything just perfectly, oh you didn't...you lose" Essentially the game is just foolishly over designed as a roguelite that will inevitably have some minor issue that bricks something important and ruins the run prematurely.The game is a nightmare without mods lategame.

I've updated the mod to save the day when the day starts, so any changes in the prep phase that you've made will be saved when you restart the day.

(Thanks for the comment, I noticed that previously it was only saving if you didn't hit practice mode)

does this completely restart the day, as in, undo all the changes? I'd love to not have to redo everything averytime i put one little thing offf.

Yup updated. The mod is super simple and is just a menu option to restart the current day. :)

I would like a better description and maybe a picture if possible before I am comfortable downloading this :)
