I'm uncertain why you weren't able to make a franchise. I'm currently loaded down with university work, but once that eases up I intend to jump back into working on improving and adding more things to my mod at that time.
I got into overtime and told it to make it a franchise but it didn't. Not sure if that's a mod issue or a plateup issue.
Thanks for making this though. It's perfect if the colors were easier to tell apart!
Mac and Cheese reminds me of pizza, which serves 4 servings, why do variant mac and cheeses cause a reduction in groups, while variant pizza don't? I feel like the variants do not need a reduction in groups. Just an observation but seemed odd.
-Added proper colorblind tags for the respective mixed pots, servings and plated servings were already properly labeled prior to this update.
-> MC
-> MCe
-> MCh
-> MChe
Due to requests for clarity with the mixed pots of mac and cheese, I created redundant models in the assets to allow for each completed pot to have proper colorblind labels. Prior, the colorblind labels only labeled the pots with what sauce they had. (Egg and cheese with MCE, or just cheese with MC regardless of added hot dog), My intentions weren't intuitive, so now with this update each pot should have proper colorblind tags depending on what ingredient was added.
-Adjusted Egg dishes and visuals of models
-> Instead of having eggs on the dish, the color of the noodles and sauce in egg dishes are a significantly lighter color.
-> Portions of egg based dishes (+ hot dog variant) are in circular cups while normal mac (+ hot dog variant) portions are in square cups.
-> Pots of normal mac and egg mac have colorblind tags to differentiate them. Likewise all plates and portions have specific colorblind tags for the specific type of dish. (It isn't possible to do the same with the pots ie egg and hot dog vs just egg, hence only having normal mac, and egg mac color blind tags for the pots of dishes.)
@fireredlily - That may be a possibility. I have room for one more ingredient in the pot when adding ingredients before mixing it all together. I will likely have to add some markings or visual things to make the items visually distinct enough. (Ground beef would have a similar color to the hot dogs), But I like the idea. I was already considering adding ground beef as an item for another dish I was planning on making for a different mod. I think adding that as a 3rd optional ingredient can create a lot of chaos if someone choose to try and use all of them at once, but I like that idea.
Customer asked to add eggs
Add eggs as an additional ingredient
but i didn't get it :(
- Add egg as an addition ingredient
- Added egg'ed mac and cheese as a dish card
- Added egg'ed mac and cheese with hot dog slices as a dish card
- Adjusted in-game models and colors for visual clarity
Via a friend's suggestion. I added an additional ingredient. Egg. Apparently people mix eggs into their mac and cheese? It supposedly makes the cheese thicker. Anyways. With the addition of the egg you can now create 4 dishes in this mod. Plated Mac, Plated Mac with hot dogs, Plated Mac with egg, and Plated Mac with egg and hot dogs. Each dish is unlocked via cards.
-Added Ketchup as a menu option with the mac and cheese.

No problem adding those tags in, I'm not too familiar with how they work in code but I'm glad what I added were helpful.
Also the side dishes were showing up with the mac and cheese on a plate, I just hadn't played on the version which had that fixed before I commented.
- Added chopped hot dogs in mac and cheese as a dish option.
- Added chop processes to cooked hot dogs
- Added some color blind tags.
As far as I can tell from my own testing. Sides should be appearing properly on both plated mac and plated mac with hot dogs. Likewise all items should properly store in prep stations that are intended to (all but the plated and potted items) and all items should properly store in freezers.
The mac and cheese with hotdogs card should only show up after having selected mac and cheese as the base dish.
Love this mod.
My only suggestions would be if you could add colorblind options and also there seems to be a bug when adding side dishes to mac and cheese where the plated side dishes just show up as mac and chees, as if there is no side dish.
Would love to put some of the moxed mac, (Kraft Dinner) into the prep station / frozen prep.
