@Northway I've checked the mod, its gives player -%150 levy bonus and -%75 to AI as its intented. AI should have a little amount of levies while player has 0, until you got some buff modifiers that makes your levy rate higher. What is exactly different from new update of the game? Did devs reduces vanilla levy rate for players?

After the new update, activating this mod makes your levy size 0, while other civilization will still have levy, making it super hard to go against other nation

For your reference, the title history of the Kingdom of Sicily ended at Simon of Sicily as Duke of Sicily. Roger II of Sicily disappeared, so did his line, seems like this is where the problem occurred.

Um...... This some how destroyed the Kingdom of Sicily and most member of the House of Hauteville in 1178.

i use it with agot,but the army has not showing the atk and speed etc,so i presume it has something to do with it has not updated

@sello I've changed to mod to previous version. It works fine now, sadly i dont know the problem yet. I'll try to find the cause and update it once i have enough free time

@Detarzo its not an issue mod itself heavily reduces levies .
I have tried to edit levies for title rank but unfortunately its wasnt possible due to game itself

@SmilingKnight yes , im planning to change levie rate to give different levie rate for each rank and increase levie or making merc cheaper for ai once i have enough time.

@macluc i've made it as game rule for possible changes in future but there isnt a second option currently thats why you cant change it

Could we have it dependant on government type (possibly the level of professionalism, as in how much the levies are reduced) - having a professional army as a tiny tribe.... hmmm doesn't sound quite right i think :)

Any chance you can get the AI to purchase more men at arms and can you possibly give the HRE and RE some special troops as at times I see them with 400 men

The most important thing should be to keep a part of the conscription, whether it is handed over by the vassal to the lord or his own. The feudal system of the pyramids has been broken without ordinary soldiers.

I mean, theocratic vassals are better managed than feudal vassals when there is no need for conscription, and with the mod they also only pay taxes to the lord and don't provide soldiers. But when I was forced to become the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, I knew the balance of the game was broken. They could rebel without time cost.

@422559 AI is also effected by these changes. I've modified some lifestyle perks to reduce army maintenance and increase taxes. No tax reduction or building changes are made so far

@ShakenSpear i've made it intentionaly to reduce levies heavily so it can reach around 6k at max in late game , I'll reduce Norse rulers speacial troop's to 1-1.5k , does it work with other mods? normally it should work with almost every other mod

Works fine on my side when only running this mod alone, but I do have to say the decrease in special troops is still not enough though... The Norse brothers at 867 are still running rampages with 2.5k troops each, while the other dukes and even the French king only have 300ish each xd.

Is the modifier "less levies (-150%)" intentional? Because that basically means no one has levies at all but just MAAs, while those with special troops would still retain theirs - just fewer.
