@Little_Cactus i think slug pup safari should be able to help it allows you to put slug pups on your back and prevents them from drowning while on your back.

@Sakirisu Fun fact if you force enable slug pups in the cheats menu there is a 100% chance for a slugpup to spawn in rubicon because to quote a developer "All slugpups go to hell"

be careful around worm grass too! if the pup gets pulled in, you can force it out with dev tools (open dev tools and use v to pull your slugcat to some higher place, it will pull the pup too), but the pup will keep sinking into the floor afterwards, so you need to have it on your back. it will fix itself after you hibernate.

PSA: This mod protects against 'dying' by disabling the script that causes a slug pup's state to become dead. Falling out of rooms, DLLs, leviathans, etc do not actually 'kill' anything. They completely delete it.

If your pup would have a body afterwards, then it will survive. If not it's just been deleted entirely

slugpups can be thrown and hit with food. about 3 hits. don't ask how i know.
without this mod or with, who knows if it protects against. be weary, don't throw food

I have the mod installed, but my slug pup still died after being bit by a lizard. If it helps, it was a pup spawned by the beast tamer mod.

I didnt have the theow spears mod and I killed 2 red lizor with 8 rocks! (I was in arena) and i killed them... with rock damage! I didn't even knock them off the edge!
