You don't get any Issac items, only Level Ups, but then half the time the restrictions just say "you can't play the game"
Imo, I'd say remove the heal, no spells, and no shops restrictions especially, but generally instead of things like those that are just "you can't do x" make them like the one where occasionally a dead enemy will just not die instead. You can still toy with some things, but just making it a flat "you just can't do X" may not be the best.
For example: maybe if possible instead of no healing, instead when you lose a heart, it becomes a broken heart for a set time. (Or just make it so you take more damage)
Instead of no consumables, maybe make it where they despawn after a short time.
Instead of no shops, could make them more expensive.

no, this character can't have angel deals. but there is it's own way of getting mega satan keys
you gotta use netstart coop for that
just tested mod in co-op (netstart) and it worked fine
the thing is that you and your partner should both have SAME mods installed. so if you have erin and he, for example, have erin and agatha, this would cause conflicts
if debug console popped any errors please drop that to the bug report thread so I could fix it

sorry, missed your message. I personally didn't test this mod in co-op, but things ere created with it in mind, so it should work fine for the most part
an inventory is just an array of names and a variable for the selected cell that is increased/reset on button press. and if you want to do something with the selected item you just do something like GetInvItemIDByName(inv[pointer]) and then get item's data/effect/whatever based off id
it's hard to explain right something like this without writing a bigass wall of text, so not sure if I explained that understandable enough, but looking through "item_flamepact.lua" and "spells" folder in mod's code might help to get the idea of how I've done it, the functions there are simple and have self-explainable names
