@Xulid, currently seeing what I can do to add an auto-pilot system and altitude hold. There was some micros I used for a previous heli design that might work but they're a bit jittery. Ad it might not work with available space.

In the meantime use the ingame system of holding left [ALT] then tapping [W] or [S] to adjust the forward angle & speed of the heli(You press both keys at once to set it back to zero). From there just adjust until the constant increase on the altimeter isn't too high and it should fly in whatever direction you aim it at. It just wont be able to automatically stop.

@paul could you further describe the problem in the new bug reports discussion? It shouldn't be having too many issues with lift.
Private Colceri  [author] 10 Feb, 2023 @ 1:54pm
@jack, thanks, I can't wait see this video myself. Right after I finish some more updates on this, and the water landing version.

Xuild 9 Feb, 2023 @ 10:52pm
please add autopilot and altitude hold, i'm not annoyed that theres no autopilot, just wish it was there incase we needed it (if someones playing in a server where we cant see where we are on a map or something like that)
Hotspot 9 Feb, 2023 @ 9:55pm
I did. Unfortunately its just an empty cargo bay now. If I go back this season I'll grab some pictures.
Private Colceri  [author] 9 Feb, 2023 @ 3:05pm
That's cool, did you ever get a good look inside?

Interior photos of these are badly sorted so it was always difficult to tell if they were of the inside of the Winnebago S-58 or the Winnebago S-55.
Hotspot 9 Feb, 2023 @ 12:40am
Believe it or not I was cherry drying and the Winnebago S-58 was in the fleet.
Private Colceri  [author] 6 Feb, 2023 @ 5:58pm
I should add, an amphibious version was originally planned. That idea will now be revisited.

Maintenance tools are beneath the passenger/table seats, I've updated the description to give a better idea of their location.

The cabin light switch was moved to a more visible location.
CraddyMcPatty 6 Feb, 2023 @ 2:43am
It is a flying DREAM. Smooth, easy and simple controls, It's just perfect regarding flight. Interior is compact and nice, with text here and there. Truly awesome, only problems I've had is:
No maintenance tools/hatch and hard-to-find light switches.

Absolutely give it a go. I've actually got a seaplane tri-motor with a tail-mounted engine that partially functions as a mobile home. It has been crazy useful in career mode.

I'll be honest making these campers was surprisingly a lot of fun to do, adding bits and details to the interior was something I don't usually get to do on that level with most vehicles outside of boats.
Astraxx2020 5 Feb, 2023 @ 9:39pm
You've inspired me- now I know of want to make a camper variant of my seaplane lol
Private Colceri  [author] 5 Feb, 2023 @ 12:07pm
Thanks, it was tons of fun to make.
Astraxx2020 5 Feb, 2023 @ 9:44am
