you can try to ask them like for example, can GabryTheSniper port these models into Garry's Mod? if you use that question and they will not answer you, it means that they don't care or they give up at modding.

But, i have 2 problems, the addon is really outdated, so the models aren't gonna be good to port them and second, there is a 50% chance that they will ignore it because they don't care about porting those into playermodels. Aside that, it depends of the author's response.
