Assuming you are playing in Official server, with highest setting (disabled Anti Aliasing), use no other mod, only mod all guns with those of same quality like this mod, here is what i recommend:
- CPU: Intel Core i3
- RAM: 4 GB
- GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5970 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 480 (a bit better than L4D2 recommended)
- Storage: + 2 GB for all guns replacement

Sorry, i don't understand the problem, there shouldn't be any red dot at all.
If you're talking about laser, i afraid i can't do anything about it.

If that's not the case, would you mind showing me some sort of gameplay?

its good but the red dot is invisible when your not moving and you can only see it after your dont shooting. Please fix the problem thank you
