Report a translation problem
I was mistaken, I was checking by whether the options would load and whether or not the game would crash when starting up.
The only way it's broken currently is that it does nothing ingame
should be fine if it helps
let me know if you need more testing
besides not spawning (and moving the camera to the altogether wrong pipe) my cat or held items are also failing to spawn at all occasionally entering a room when this mod is active
respawn
And it will ... well.. respawn you, and get rid of the softlock. Without Pit Respawn, the game goes straight to Game Over, which, if you are careful not to hit any key, you could still use the Dev Tools alongside Dev Console to type in respawn, but it's nice that this mod at least offers a buffer.
Another report, within Remix, the mod is yellow and says that it is for Rain World 1.9.5 and needs to be updated to 1.9.6, but I have had the mod work fine in 1.9.6 without issues except for HP Bar. I also would really love to see compatibility between the two.
The camera will move to the pipe i entered through but the slugcat will fail to re spawn.
Removing the HP bar mod allows this mod to work as intended, removing food pips when falling out of the map and re spawning at the pipe used to enter the room.
Also another thing regarding settings, for example I have the damage set to 4 pips however if say i have 2 pips and fall off the map i will still live and only lose 2 pips, could you implement a change to where if the damage exceeds current pips that it will still kill you.
oops
the momentum stop is great though - I've had instances with ceiling pipes and pits below that turned into infinite falling
its still a cool mod dont get me wrong but i think this would be better if used by newer players who can ragequit easily, not for me.
How does it work with other creatures than the slugcat? Does this remove pits as a tool for the player as well, or is it only a safety net for the player?
thank you, appreciate you figuring it out and sharing.
