I'd like to ask if this is compatible with FOTE?
Unofficial Status: Noted, I will fix it.
Announcement: This mod will continue, but receive fairly less updates. I am developing an extension of this mod, essentially, rather an overhaul than a reskin: 395 AD: Era of Stilicho. It is based in the Attila timeframe with an overhaul aspect (ex: Age of Justinian, Anno Domini, etc). It will contain major units/roster and campaign changes.
For those who would like to follow its development, I have made a new discord server for it: https://discord.gg/X5DfacetVt
Wennfel: Much appreciated, do you mean the sort of fulcrum formation that is in TOB, or a "shield screen" shown in Total War: Rome II and some units in Attila especially, or both? Do let me know. Thanks.
But i do have a request, i know that your mod is a reskin one but you think that in future patches you could add the fulcrum formation on the infantry? Im not aiming to replace the testudo, just asking to add one more formation to them if possible. I can send you in the dms more information and pictures of what im talking about if you want.
Again great mod, really a joy to play it.
1. vanilla units look terrible and the unit cards also look at best low effort
2. they are light weight and don't break existing saves and come with (usually) no odd conflicts with bigger overhaul mods like Radious or Fall of the Eagles
3. this reskin is the only one with a mix of historical authenticity and good aesthetics which are hard to balance in my humble opinion.
I enjoy this mod and i'm sure you will do a great job with the overhaul. and thank you for your time and effort.
Lucius Domicius Aurelianus: Fixed. Septimani Iuniores should not have non-existing chests, perhaps that was from an older update. Thank you.
DI_Welly: Fixed. Much appreciated.
[Z] Hopink: Thanks brother, this was done on purpose as I did it out of personal preference; however, I will fix this soon regardless to appease you, I assume others want it back as well. It will likely come with the officer/bannermen/general revamp update that I will be doing soon. Once again, thanks.
Rheinlander: Fixed. Thanks for letting me know.
To give a little update, probably this weekend all skirmisher units will be reskinned and with redone unit cards (they have already been renamed with historical names).
Mortarch of Blood: Vanilla campaign.
Negativac: I would recommend simply reducing unit textures in settings which should do the job. Otherwise the units will look really bad.
