New players will think that Mechtrauma includes only what tier 1 has to offer, because how would new players know Steam Powertrains exist?
Anyways, i never claimed mod to be full mechtrauma either. All it has is in its name is vanilla subs mechtraumized and i think i managed to do just that.
Do you know that meme with an Asian guy in a red shirt trying to read a tiny piece of paper with squinted eyes?
I read the description again and I still see nothing that mentions simplification, guiding or being easy.
There's also no mention that tier 1 subs have no powertrain and that only tier 3 subs have everything, so we've rightfully assumed that your subs are either unfinished or broken due to missing functionality.
Most ships in this collection are SIMPLIFIED Mechtrauma.
bro read description, i thought i made it clear
as for progression and lack of full mechtrauma subs: that's entirely mine choice on how i want subs to be done and in what progression stage. my subs are made purely for education purposes a. k. a gradually learning all mechtrauma stuff.
if you wish to make conversion of subs by yourself - you can use my mechtraumizer that lies in mechtrauma discord which will speed up process drastically
If you wish, there could be a simplified Dugong version and a full Dugong version. For better ships there could be a reactor version and a diesel engine version. You can't satisfy everyone with 1 version, of course.
1. Advanced submarines (like all vehicles) are supposed to be better and easier to use, NOT more tedious and hard to use. You're paying more so you're expecting something more advanced.
2. Expensive ships being harder to use discourages players from switching to bigger subs. You'll want to stick to your Dugong for as long as you can, as it's less tedious to maintain in this mod. Then you upgrade to another tier 1 sub without the Steam Powertrain. Because it's simpler.
3. Advanced ships should deteriorate more slowly than cheap ships.
And by the way, there are no fully-Mechtraumatized subs for Unstable on the whole workshop (except for your tier 3 subs).
Most ships in this collection are SIMPLIFIED Mechtrauma.
second: this collection is created as guide for newcomers to mech + i aint showing powertrain into dugong's booty
1 tier - only really basic stuff, no steam train
2 tier - more stuff to play with like water gates but still not much
3 tier - all features including stuff like central pumps
Паровые двигатели не везде помещаются (нет, я не буду делать их 0.2 размера) + лодки первого и второго класса должны быть обучением перед третьим)
Unstable is what aplha will be when 1.0 comes out
