This is a submod for Less Early Raids by Tenoz. Less Early Raids gives you some outpost free structure and crafting options. This mod provides some inexpensive, but non-free research costs and some alternative build costs for those structures within the IWK+ mod framework. It also capitalizes the word PRIMITIVE so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in the build menu anymore :)

Hi there great idea though I find it too unbalanced for me with the primitive shack, and stone processor models as well as the whole iron refinery (smoke would be too hard to conceal from roaming patrols in my mind). So is there anyway we can edit these models using some existing ruined structures to make them look more incognito? Built the shack but when I send a character inside, the walls don't drop down so I can see inside.

Well, there is kind of issue with this mod I believe - when you put primitive shack not too far from some town (far enough to be able to build buildings) - it actually becomes part of this town, even if out of town circle range, though, when you decide start your outpost around there after it, game actually spawns town marker of new outpost on each new item outpost creating item added inside said shack - like if you put five chests, it'll spawn five town markers, which will totally mess with any energy related things, and there is also no way to delete those town markers as well, I believe. AI will actually have some issues with that as well, as there will be occasional guards running towards you buildings, probably counting them as part of the town.The only way to fix it is to actually rebuild all shacks again after you create first town marker. Not sure how to fix this initial problem with becoming it part of bigger town though.

A great mod, thank you for making it. Surprised it doesn't have like 30,000 subs! Hopefully more people discover this, it definitely changes the early game and allows you to RP as someone on the run (at least until you get the basic infrastructure in lol). A good strategy I found with this mod is to build it around the backside of The Hub and build up a small depot for storage, you can easily build up most of the basics you'd need to get building supplies and iron plates pumping out. Most things that are buildable indoors works as well, and it pairs nicely with other "Camping" related mods as you can decorate it with small plant beds, tents, and basic defenses without causing half of Kenshi to swarm you immediately

Yeah there were quite a few buildings I thought of that could work well with this. As far as fishing goes I think that's all created by the community so I'd have to ask those modders for permission first.

Man these are ideal for the Fugitive play through if wanting to set up a real off the grid base.

Any chance I can suggest something similar with fishing. So far as I know all the fishing relate mods out currently mark you as an outpost even a simple fishing pole. Drives me nuts when playing a coastal nomad especially.
