So the main problem is a misunderstanding because the CO told you to get back and hold the line, but he didn't give you words about get back to you previous mission. His line seems pretty thin against those active hives' attack so he looks still needs you help. And since those hives are not marked on map, it is really easy to recognize them as part of counter attack

All right, everything is neat, except there is no dialog told you that the counter attack is finished(the permanent waves are actually just active hives, though number is pretty big) and you should renew your attack on bug positions. Also, if you didn't help out zulu and killing the tank bug, you actually can't get back to work since the line need your troop to hold

@ speed sneed: The Bug offensives during the first half of the mission stop after the major counterattack, as do the spawns in the killzone just forward of the trenches. The counterattack is set to end on a kill counter, but allied forces don't add to that number; just the player. If you're having trouble repelling the attack, try setting up a firing line on the slope or the ridge just above the trenches.

Still eagerly awaiting Bughouse 2 hope youre still working on it but understand if life got in the way.

@ Zuperzacha: Unfortunately that's correct - if you lose the squads you're given, they can't be replaced, only replenished from partial strength at the drop pad or with your Comms Operators. You'll be able to defeat the enemy if you study their positions and strength each time you try again!

Oh man looking forward to Bughouse 2, id once again like to say that your usage of friendly AI controlled units, and these kind of cinematic battles that are happening on the map, while we're also doing our thing, its really awesome and gives a much large feel to the battle. Cant wait

@ Magos Hudson: Thanks for the kind words! Bughouse 2 is in developmemt, just ironing out some bugs with how the triggers in the final event of the mission goes. Lag can be a problem during the offensives; I might update to disable the random spawns in the killzone during Arachnid counterattacks to dial back the RAM and GPU demands a bit.

This mission is amazing, this is what the actual games campaign should have been. Insanely chaotic, the scale is great, really feels like my troopers are just a part of a much larger war, the level of detail was superb. I cannot recommend this mission enough and im eagerly awaiting future Redeployed releases if this is the level of quality we get. I will say near the end there, it got pretty laggy. But as I started really taking down the hives it cooled off.
