The AI throws normally. Only with a new animation. They don't have mechanics like the player. That is, the AI can't prepare a grenade.
It is just a funny mention (i don't think there is any way to fix it - since thouse two AI mods are not compatibile togher from what i know), but still it happens in 10-20% of all throws so it looks a little like they panniked under fire and blow up them self.
Well, make your own grenades and specify the required time in the config)
