if Watcher has any, yes.
To continue using mods that haven't yet updated past Watcher release, there is the option to rollback to the version before it. Properties> Betas > legacy-remix-1.9.15b- v1.9.15b.
You can move the Watcher version to a new folder and install v1.9.15b.
Description FAQ.
Mods not working after major updates is widespread. DMS mods have no code to break or become outdated. Any DMS-dependant mods won't work if the dependency has been impacted, this is not a Lizardcat issue
Enable "Custom Tail Size" acessible through the Customize button right next to the tail selection field, in the Get Fancy menu.
DMS cannot scale the base of the tail to be wider than vanilla.
Half the length of vanilla lizards are from tails, and there is only so much scale can be faked by drawing sprites longer than they are before visual problems arise with anchor incosistencies and (visual) hitbox legibility once the player starts rotating in a procedural space. The game will still treat it as if the size of the normal player
Therefore, although I can push a couple body parts offcenter to remediate, DMS can't match the exact proportion of what has an entire slugcat worth of length from body alone, without immensely mangling the result to the point where it lacks convincing naturality.
Also p.s i worry that this mod doesn't actually replicate being a lizard 1:1 scale since comparing lengths i think character Body and hips aren't long enough.. please help me understand if i have something wrong thanks!
A folder with lone .pngs, .txt and .json files is not going to "break your game".
It does nothing without the dependency.
Make sure no other mod interfering with Dress My Slugcat is being loaded in the Remix menu. Otherwise there is another, underlying issue requiring elaboration.
One Mark has the lines from the Dragonslayer passage symbol and the other does not.
Artificer's scar and Rivulet's gills won't look visually correct due to the inherent way they are coded to behave directionally and expect a short round head, if that is your question. No amount of messing with them as custom sprites is going to make them fit around.
The white lizard sprites are the only variants which don't have a black mask for the bodies and so can look fully even-coloured with the menu colour of your choice (like vanilla slugcat sprites).
Enable Lizardcat and DMS on the in-game Remix menu, which you can access directly from the main menu. The description tells you to.
It happens, don't worry about it. I'm glad it has inspired you to get into spriting
