Update (also, Res Publica has a new version that actually works now called "Res Publica Patched"?

@truelove101992 it was mainly due to perfomance, i only play with res publica with rome because my pc ist very good, and it's a bit performance heavy for my taste, so i divided it in two for when i want to play rome and for when i want to play any other nation.

Side note, what makes this mod standalone by comparison to the other berry's mods? Just curious.

Just a heads up about the 100% freeze thing: it seems to be tied specifically to the "res publica" mod so probably easiest to focus on fixing whatever is causing the freeze to happen with that mod specifically and see if it can be fixed.

@Berry starting a new game just has hang at 100% forever.

When I attempt to start a New Game, using only the six mods in the load order above, in the order provided, I am unable to get to the map screen (where you choose your country), even after looking at the loading screen for thirty minutes.

Notably, the other version of this mod (that does not use Res Publica) actually loads in, even if I add other mods in the load order. So the problem is definitely with either Res Publica or this mod.

i can think about it, yes. but it'll take lots of time, and im still working on the main changes i want in the mod. thanks for the suggestion

well, this mod is Rome specific, with res publica, so rome has a reworked government system. i might work on that on the main mod
