Haha, I once did a dyn. weather mod (and script), pretty complex stuff and needed some workarounds. You may want to look at, tort_dynamic_weather2 or 3. Meanwhile I almost forgot how to code sqf.

The storm uses a lot of scripts that aren't mine. Test in vanilla on Altis with rain at 1 and a clear weather type at 9.

I need help setting up, I want rain no more than 10% of the time and I want to rain only when 100% clouds (storm is ok). But with Rain:0 and Storm:1 every second weather change is rain, sometimes without any clouds. Ran on dedicated server with 5-6 players.

Yes, an integer. In short, the integer is how many times that weather type is added to the array of choices. The chance is:

Weight of this weather / Total weight of all weather

If i want a certain type of weather like snow storm have a 0.01 chance to appear,what i should do is set other weather weight to 100,then set snow storm to 1, is that correct?

is the "change time" in seconds or minutes? the description says "time it takes to change weather",so i'am not so sure about it.:smileboxx:

I think that is part of the monsoon, set the monsoon weight to 0.

what is the setting turn off the wind blowing npc away? Iv set the wind power to 0 and they still fly around the map Mary Poppins, it is really annoying.

I experimented with time acceleration, but it looks very unnatural as it causes clouds etc to jump forward in sync with the time.

On the modded map Pecher (and probably more) the snow storm moves the trees/foliage in a very unnatural way, the wind from the storm bugs the animations even with all wind off.

Hi, do you have a mod that force time acceleration without letting the game put in again by default ? I'm playing on some scenario and i put x60 on acceleration time. At 19pm and 7pm everyday in game, the game put the acceleration time to x8 again. And i need to open zeus and again put time acceleration to x60.

It can't be placed in Zeus, though I think there are some mods that do that. It doesn't adjust AI level at all.

This mod can not start automatically, the module has to be manually placed in the editor.

Quick question.
Can spawn dust & snow storms in east wind campaign.
Though i thought module was needed, for custom missions etc.
Is module added to campaigns or other SP missions?
Or is dust/snow storms seperate from module somehow?

How would one extend the duration that each weather affect lasts? ATM it seems that each type of storm lasts 10-20 seconds.

This is a very nice mod from what I've used it, but I'd suggest lowering some of the wind values on certain weathers for a reason that you can see here:

The particle physics engine can't really handle strong wind values like these and pretty much bugs out. The issue gets even worse with particle mods, so you get dozens of these ugly particle lines of various kind going through towns, objects, etc.

Found one issue:

When using "Select Respawn Position" I noticed Alias's Scripts throw errors.

When "Select Respawn Position" is unticked, and the player immediately spawns in; then there is no issue.

Is there a way to delay this module until players are on the map? I've tried triggers but nothing works yet.
