Probably one of the few modded characters that plays like a vanilla and is very well balanced
He's legit over a year old but can still throw hands with the broken ahh characters we have today and win consistently
Goated char in general
Its IASA is a bit too low. It's only -9 on parry and -7 on backdash, which a good bit of modded characters or even some vanilla can't punish, because the move sends the gallade a fullhop + double jump in height above you on parry or backdash.
It doesn't help that this move also has armor that is not tied to anything, not even initiative so in most situations you can just pick it to:
A. Screw over the opponent hard and do at the least 3k damage
B. Get away with around 0 consequences even without an FC
These problems could be solved by making aqua cutter only launch gallade if he actually hits you or increasing the IASA. Otherwise this is a fine character, all in all you did a good job making it.
Cheers!
Overall, this guy hits really hard, but feels somewhat slow (at least compared to other Workshop characters, which is fine). Teleport's recovery hurts me emotionally, Fury Cutter NEVER connects in its entirety and Leaf Blade sounds like a nice move, but always ends up being both too slow, and doesn't cover enough distance.
Brick Break, 0 meter Gardevoir and Mega Evolve on the other hand feel incredibly powerful in comparison, and I honestly thought Mega Evolve would be an "install" super.
Would love it if you could choose the move the summon does after it comes out, maybe like Gardevoir having between Black Hole and Dazzling Gleam, for example.
Oh, and Swift is super fun to use. Jump in -> Swift feels very nice.
finally, my beloved psychic sword boy is in a fighting game, and he's sick as HELL
bonus points for including a gardevoir AND an iron valiant assist, i already would've felt like only having the former would be going above and beyond, but GOD MOTHAFUCKIN DAAAAAAAAMN
thank you so much for making this and succeeding where pokkén tournament failed by putting the #1 pokémon candidate for a fighting game character in a fighting game, and also for doing him SO much justice
One of the best mods on the workshop hands down.
red here, nice char!!!
