I think We need to provide more Mechanitor Gear for Avali... They don't have more than 6 bandwidth to control the mechs...They are unable to wear human Mechanitor Gear

Hi again! I found my issue why I couldn't change the colors of my Avali (tldr, I'm stupid)

But I'm having another weird issue cropping up- I'm noticing sometimes in raids or random incidents I see Avali that are different xeno types. Is this intentional or something went wrong? I did some testing and I can confirm there's no mod conflict.

Also is it possible to make the Avali only appear in the mods specific faction? Instead of being something you see in every faction?

seems with the new update it removes spawns of almost all other colonys and even illuminate colonys as there was just with base rimworld and rimvali on it only showed 3 colonys maybe only one.

oh yeah, I totally get they aren't avali, I was talking about the third storyteller which specified that they don't enjoy 'humans' succeeding.

@UmbraStar They are entirely different.
We focus on a lot more in-depth mechanics regarding the avali (eg. avali packs), while most of the other avali mods for 1.6 simply add the xenotype (which is better if you're looking for a lighter experience)

I have the Sergals, gnolls, lions, and frogs mod. I assume that they aren't human but does anybody know that for sure? I figure'd i'd ask for the sake of the new storytellers.

There are some contexts where that could also cause issues, so its easier to just not render it when there's no avali texture.

Hello! Firstly, thanks for a great mod! Second, is it possible to make a fallback for default apparel textures if no specially aval'ed not found? It makes them appear naked if wearing modded armor or something along the lines. Or is it just me?
Probably would be okay with only torso apparel, human helmets and backpacks and stuff seems wierd if forced to render.

Couple details that might matter: I have the biotech DLC for proper babies (and ideology but I doubt that matters) and the mother in question was packbroken and so can't do childcare by default but was forced to due to being defaulted to the child's urgent feeder

Weird behavior, one of my avalis had a baby and at first it seemed I could have the baby sleep in the pillow fort with everybody else but sometimes the mother gets stuck in a loop moving the baby "somewhere safe" aka 1 tile away back back forth forever until I force her to prioritize something. I guess I'm supposed to make a crib for the kid? Seems like unintended behavior regardless that should probably be looked into. Running 1.6

im on 1.6 and im playing over rimtoghter unf i cant get the log file due to well haveing multiple ppl >_> I have some log files idk how to use them tho. I can send u one of them otheriwse i dont know where to find them

also Update to the Pack feature thingy issue i have: Now after disbanding a pack and reforming it a aleart in the top left corner pops up and never stops saying "Paws Pack didnt have enough members to sustain itself" even tho all of them are at perfect relations and its 3 ppl in one pack

Ok soo I gotta keep em toghter more now my avali has pack lose does it go away ? Since there is no time and am I safe to do a new pack?

When it comes to the pillows that's mostly the main cause I think they even tho they are a pack they refuse to sleep toghter after being packbroken. (Or even before that) Usually they are also saying that they slept alone which that is not ture i changed thier times to be the same. My ideology dosnt prevent that as well I double checked so I'm kinds confused.

@Sily if they are apart for too long, pack loss can set in.

I have notice some stuff. I dont know if its just bec of Rimtoghter tho it shoudnt be but the Pack mechanic isnt work at all they constantly ask for their pack. Am i doing something wrong here but my avali has a pack lose even tho nobody died or went. Also they wont sleep toghter at all on the Pillows. Is that a bug? The bedroom is a barrack

It Is Not A Mod Conflict, Running Only This And Vine Even At A 30% Map Only Spawns 2 NPC Colonies, And Throws A NullReferenceException

I'm Not Sure If This Is A Mod Conflict Or The Mod Itself, But Anytime This Mod Is On, It Messes With The NPC Colony Generation. It Limits The Game To Like 5/6 And Won't Generate Any More.

with the helmets for the avali they dont appear at all on the sprites as well as with combat evolved the sprites appear but they are on their chests instead (i dont have the helmet visual disabled either) is there a fix with the files i should do or is this a mod bug fix?

What determines if a pawn is an avali is the actual underlying definition, like how some HAR races work.

If you aren’t seen those, you probably just haven’t gotten any?

How well would this mod work with something like Xenotype Spawn Control mod to add in custom Avali xenotypes? What is it exactly that determines whether or not a pawn has an Avali appearance? As far as I can tell, it's the faction.
