Sorry but no, I mainly mod for fun and SFO is my preferred overhaul. Anyone is welcome to make a submod or whatnot though!
Yup! Pretty much all unit mods are safe to be added mid-save, but if the AI or you have any of the units created then you won't be able to remove it from the save
Did a bit of late night balancing, really toned down the autoresolve bonuses they had. Seemed I had put them way above normal, also did a bit of tweaking to damage

I did see in my own playing that Cathay was getting stomped by my troops.
it should be fine to add to an already existing campaign as it's just new units. Though it won't be able to be removed once in unless no AI forces have them
