There's actually not a full guide so a guide explaining more complex things would be always welcome
I am currently working on a guide for creating custom spaces in the editor and there I will also break down some of my animations and also the shops I have created. But it will take a bit of time till I can release the guide.
For example, how did you made the snowman to
throw you to another space, making a store and stuffs like that
I want to make more interactive maps (:
And how can I create spaces that are not connected to the other spaces? Like the special spaces in the Pummel Express.
I'm kinda new on this.
Thank you for your feedback!
I think the animations are not that hard to create. For example for Thomas, I created a model in a prefab and placed it on the map. Then it was more like try and error finding the right timing for Thomas and the player (they are disconnected from another while transport) for traveling to the smoke area and at the end the player is teleported to the space. The editor allows many things but the animation speed is a bit limited because the camera is following the player with a speed limit. If you want to create animations yourself, I would recommend staying in one/two dimensions like x/y. That makes the whole process much easier.
Tell me, it is hard to create those events like teletransportation, Thomas the train and stuffs like that? I want to create more dynamic custom maps, but there's not enough tutorials to do more complex things like the thingd you do
Thank you for your comment! I actually didn't think about the fake chests, because I never use it while playing myself. The map is not suited for this mode, because in the front are only three spaces, were the chests and special weapon can spawn. I will add this information o the disclaimer section above.
The rabbit gets stuck every single time in the shop although this way is not even faster. Unfortunately there is no way to control the way it is going. I will probably change the way, the shop works in the next update, so that it is not stuck for eternity, but a few rounds.
