if i set it to min 80% will it be snowing/raining 80% of the time or?
Favorited hope to fix forecast.
Note that I had long turned off Storm Manager before noticing this with the radio, because the storms with that manager enabled were far too frequent and alternated between "Tropical" and "Blizzard" regardless of the current season.
We had it running on our server for 6+ months in game and saw no rain.
In desperation I enabled rain in your mod so that we could have rain again.
We had another instance (in a different world) of snow falling during temperatures above 10'C, but I can't remember the settings we had on at the time that led to that.
Yeah, to be fair I haven't isolated your mod and so it could well be caused by something else that conflicts when run alongside your mod.
If it works fine for you then it's probably just a me problem. :)
Thanks for the great mod! It's got a lot of really cool options!
With that said there appears to be a bug where the vanilla rain, wind and storm settings are not used when the checkbox (for enabling your mod settings for those specific functions) is unticked.
We get no rain, wind or storms.
Have tried toggling on, restarting server and toggling off again. (multiplayer)
Unsure on how to fix and may have to go back to vanilla system just so we can have weather again.
Keep up the great work either way! :)
The polarizing weather would be great in a "Day After Tomorrow" themed scenario, but that's not what I'm aiming for.
Storms are also very frequent with that manager enabled, 24 hours max interval time between events is not enough to make these impressive storms into rare events. They're really cool though, you almost don't want them to be rare.
The current storm manager setup actually interacts strangely with temperatures, where triggering a storm seems to overwrite the temperature to the appropriate values for that storm (at least, it seemed to do that in my last tests). So it's something I'm looking into, but is likely to be a fairly substantial amount of work to update.
i have to adjust outside of live multiplay
it might be where its loading in mod order
my sandbox options open and i can see the setting but nothing actually changes while im ingame
its probably one of the other mods i got thats causing some conflicting issue with mod options
while i got you here are the mods "default" settings the vanilla settings?
cause
i only checked off "temperature" made winter -40 __ -0 max
added the mod kinda near the end of winter trying to make it colder but not cryo cold
it was stopping snow by then anyways so i couldnt tell if it stopped snow ethier
im not sure if im crazy but i made it to may15th and there was ZERO rain
but that might be cause i didnt check off the other settings
all i need to know is if i check ALL settings are they vanilla?
all i want is to make it -40 to -0 in winter but the rest i want vanilla
theres is ZERO mods that are like this, that work on steam hosted games
all i want is the ability to turn down the cold in winter so that the "snow is water" mod wont keep increasing the temperature...
this mod seems like it would work for what i need it to do...
just cant make it work on my steam hosted game =(
