The mouth should be open along with the blood and chest/stomach "mouth" should be the same as the male, but otherwise this is a good model. Too many psychos here seem obsessed with sexualizing gore and death.

In Half life 1 its used as a mouth to insert flesh into probably for nutrients for the headcrab and/or host body, it even opens and closes like a jaw for their idle animations.

this is never shown in Half life 2.
