Nothing is showing red in RPFM so it should have no issues (not that any would be expected) If any issue is found though, tell me and I'll do my best to fix it.

I am on max detail. It didn't do it for any of the other skaven lords I had/saw.

That's only on the 4th LOD which is the furthest one. I'm guessing you're not on max unit detail? Regardless, I just updated the LODs again; hope it works better.

Minor issue, image number 2's tail has a weird LOD issue on the campaign map. It's stretching out in multiple places. Idk about in battle yet. I would assume the same thing there.

Currently having an issue with this mod losing the colours for Clan Moulder. Works fine for the other clans, just moulder having their colours switched around from base to blue. Not sure if this is intended or not however.

Just checked and found no issue. If you've disabled all mods while testing, then validate steam files.

No and it will likely never break. Most of the files are original, so unless the devs reformat the entire file system, it should be fine. If they do do that however, then you'll know since every mod ever made will break too.

@MAYONNAISE Start here [ tw-modding.com ] for the basics. Da Modding Den discord is useful for more infomation (link in the wiki.)

Personally for modding, I use AssetEditor for models/textures and RPFM for database work.
Most of what modelling I do is kit-bashing, so Ass-ed works great for that. The format for things can be found in the wiki and discord.

The most important thing in regards to modelling is to remember to generate wsmodels for your models. wsmodels are used as references for variantmeshdefinitions, and tell VMDs what geometry and material files the model uses. If you don't do this, the models will have broken textures.

If you really want to get into modding for yourself, I'd recommend opening other peoples mods that you think do the same as what you want, and cross-reference it with others to figure out what is required. That's how I learnt outside of trial-and-error.

So you mind me asking what you used to edit them models and what format they were? I'd like to slowly get into modding myself :)

Really like a lot of these: thank you for this!

And while I'm no expert, I've found Warlords are fun for their faction-wide perk at level 13, for extra control, growth, etc. everywhere. Due to that, and this, a bit more inclined to pick more of these bad boys up.

No; I considered it, but I felt it was a better to make a second variant for the playable clans rather than adding ones for minor ones.

I was planning on doing Chieftans after Warlords, but doing Warlords took long so my enthusiasm for Chieftans kinda fizzled out. I also can't really think of any good looks for them. Later on when I get more used to variant modding and if I find some model pieces that might look good as armour, I'll re-consider it.

the lore excuse for this is that skaven warlock engineers and assassins will regularly hire out to other clans, and hey if that clan promotes them to being an army-leading lord why would they want to leave when they declare war on their original clan? Treachery is a skaven virtue of high renown

ngl, I turn off my brain when it comes to lords.

The loyalty mechanic exists and that could easily be used to justify the randomness of Eshin having Skryre's geniuses at their helm for example.
