Sadly the trading post does not adhere to inventory space requirements and will buy forever and void anything that doesn't fit in the buyers post. Figured this out while I was trying to fill all but 5 spaces with coins to force it to stop buying meals at a full stack. however it kept buying and I continued to lose coins without but without receiving the meals because of no empty space.

For anyone having a similar problem to me, who also has experience with modding here's an easy fix for DS: Navigate to your "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\workshop\1169040\2938316751" Folder, and copy the files in there to your "%appdata%\Necesse\mods" folder. This is only neccessary for the host of a dedicated server, everyone else can just subscribe and enable.

@Proclaim_TV- it is updated, the problem is the author has not updated the .jar file on github to match the current workshop version. (It doesn't matter if your not playing on a dedicated server)

I would like to put this on a dedicated server which is (mostly) for my friends, I'm reading instructions on the necesse wiki that say I need a jar file, can you help me with that?

@junior.nc1 not at all, single player is fully functional, you just need to make two trading posts. Items from one will be sent to another. However, you still need to have all the items for both sides of the trade If you're interested in making items out of thin air, I suggest enabling cheats and pressing F10 for debug mode.

The idea behind this mod is to make transfer of items between settlements easier (players can have more than one each)

@junior.nc1, yep! You need to do a little bit more it seems. Trades need to be accepted at a second trading post (can be owned by the same player) for anything to happen.
The mod does not create items, only trades them between trading posts in the same Necesse world.

For your case, you'd need one trading post offering the coins -> log trade, then a second trading post to accept the trade (and the relevant items in each trading post)

I build the trader.
Then I put 4000 Gald/Money -> Lumber/Trunk, nothing happens. Do I need to do something more?
It seems to be amazing "mod" but I don't know how to use it ...

@humbrol2, it trades the specified amounts (if present) every trade cycle. There's currently no way to automatically stop once a certain limit is reached

will the traders trade UP to the trade amount or continue to try and trade if those amounts are present.. i set my trade to 20 wood for 20 popcorn and its up to 100+ in the trade storage now

@CaloobusWeissTTV You will need to manually configure the trading post as settlement storage if you want to automate things with settlers. This allows for more control (i.e. you can have manually stocked trades as well as automatic ones)
The trading posts can be used manually without being added to settlement storage.

When I use the trading post do I have to set it as available storage and then manually set the items I'll be trading to be stored in the trading post? Or will villagers automatically bring trade items to the post

Yes. The game has updated and potentially broken things. I'll get a fixed version of the mod out when I've got time to look into it.

Yep. I've reproduced. All my testing was done on fresh worlds. Turns out loading up an old world with this mod crashes. I've pushed an update. @Spartan Draco, can you please try again and tell me if the issue persists?

the mod refuses to launch, i have saved the crash log incase it will be helpful to fix the issue.
