Apologies everyone. This mod will not be updated independently, but will be updated within the Babylon RP mod, which is linked above. Sorry everyone!

love your mod, is the fix coming?
Fanstar1 27 Mar, 2023 @ 6:53pm
is there a list of the changes made compared to base VFM?
Yourdankness69 24 Mar, 2023 @ 5:00am
Appreciated!

Likely because VFM updated yes. I will have to push an update tonight hopefully if I have the time.
Yourdankness69 24 Mar, 2023 @ 4:11am
it's currently not working, might be since VFM have been updated?

Really like the mod thou!

@Hashirama Have you tried loading VFM 1st in load order, followed by my mod? My mod needs to be last in load order to ensure the state traits and arable land is properly applied.

Would it be possible for me to just move the files from your mod over to the VFM file? Or would that screw with too much?

Don't worry about it, I actually like VFM so far. Still haven't gotten this mod to work with it though. I tried it with just VFM and state traits, as well as with my other mods, and it didn't work either time. I'm assuming it's an issue on my end because I was using this mod with vanilla just fine before the update.

My apologies everyone. This is my first modding experience, so I am learning/teaching myself as I go. Next time I will be sure to hold an older version next time.

In regards to VFM, the decision to make it compatible with VFM was due to my mod being integrated into the Babylon RP mod, which required me to make my mod VFM compatible. If you guys would like, feel free to use the version Changeling linked to. If someone would like to take that code and upload a mod that isnt meant for VFM, feel free to do so as long as I am credited.

Sorry again folks.

For those who need the old version to finish their games [why would you update a mod to new a new version without giving the old version?]

https://catalogue.smods.ru/archives/162755 has it from the 5th of March
Thatch 21 Mar, 2023 @ 2:54pm
whyyyy would we have to use vfm :steamsad:
El Doctore 21 Mar, 2023 @ 6:42am
I assume "Victorian Flavor Mod", right? That's disappointing, because I'm in the middle of a campaign without VFM. Could you provide the previous version, please?
El Doctore 21 Mar, 2023 @ 5:51am
VFM?
JohnBrown  [author] 21 Mar, 2023 @ 4:43am
@hashirama load VFM first in load order, followed by this. should have specified that. please let me know if it works now.
Dennis "Dino Stealer" Nedry 21 Mar, 2023 @ 2:10am
Tried to use this with VFM but the state traits don't seem to be appearing.

Hey, just checking this out and I really like the direction you took it! I especially like your choice to make rivers more significant with those balance changes. Keep up the good work!

@see two My next project is a mod (planned for 1.3) focusing on buildings/goods, reworking current ones and adding new ones alike. I will make a note of trying to model electrical generation more realistically, as I agree it is abstracted a bit too much for my liking. Thanks for the suggestion!

could you add compatibility with Realistic Power Plants at some point? They utilize River state traits as indication that a Hydropower plant can be built there
JohnBrown  [author] 6 Mar, 2023 @ 6:56pm
that is correct. will be updated to steel belt in next update. Thanks for suggestion :)
kalveni 6 Mar, 2023 @ 2:22pm
Suggestion: Rename Rust Belt to Steel Belt, since the former name didn't become common until the region was in decline.
