I checked and Mario still has 990 fuel. I figured out if your fps is lower then 100 fps Mario's fuel drains super quick.
Put Mario in invincibility mode and this should make the him work even at 80 fps

the fuel was reduced to 200

That's weird. Mario should of only be using 100-300 fuel out of 990 by the time he reaches the end.

The only thing I see wrong about it is that it's not Sonic the Hedgehog.
