Thanks for the mod.
If I may give a suggestion, if we were to mirror real world time period, the gear should be (in-game) Neolithic and not Medieval. In fact, the Fall of Rome was the event that STARTED the middle ages and to be even more precise, Lorica Segmentata, the Legion Armor of the mod, and the one most people know from movies and TV was already outdated and not in use 400 years BEFORE the Fall of Rome.

Also, most, if not all technologies from Vanilla Factions Expanded: Classical are also Neolithic to reflect the time period difference from medieval.
Is it OP for a Neolithic faction to have plate armor while the other still use leather/ cloth? Yes. But tbf, Rome was also OP af.

Late Roman Infantry mod for example is also Neolithic but this one, for balancing purposes could have been medieval.

So, with that said, if you could move it to the Neolithic tree I would appreciate it. Thanks!

The Scutum is not working as a shield. So you can have 2 shields equipped ... the Scutum and a real shield.

Updated: Vanilla Factions Expanded - Classical pawns will use this equipment (I'll work on buffing things for the next update).
Sean 5. juni 2023 kl. 23:45
Maybe just buff everything lol
Oh and if you know how maybe make the Roman factions in Vanilla Fcations Expanded Classical use this stuff?

Ok, how would you like them improved? I just continued the mod; I rely on people's suggestions to improve it.

Everything has really low stats.

Legit one shoulder pauldron and a band under the neck, that's it lmao
Sean 6. mar. 2023 kl. 3:24
Oh nvm it does, it's just really skimpy lol

Oh another issue with the original, but the armour doesn't have a graphic when worn by women. I know it's ahistorical, but I like to just churn out a bunch of equipment and not have to make any outfits, makes life simple ya know?

combat...extended...?

From looking at the code, it shows that it covers fingers (as apparel) but specifies further down that it protects the various other body parts; I believe this is part of what the Vanilla Framework code does. If I add other body parts to the apparel code it won't allow other apparel in those locations to be worn. I've never really used shields so I can't speak authoritatively on this, but it would make sense.

In any case I've updated the mod to fix a few things, and Shields should only be available if you run Vanilla Expanded Framework now (it didn't have the strict dependency before).

I'm here for fixes and improvements. I think some stuff is also set Industrial when it should be Medieval also, I'll take a look today.

Hey the scutum only covers fingers, I know this was a bug with the original too so you didn't do anything wrong but might wanna fix?

Updated: children can now wear toga.
DigiDragoon 2. mar. 2023 kl. 8:25
That would be much appreciated, Thank you!
Zaljerem  [ophavsmand] 2. mar. 2023 kl. 8:08
Yeah, that's fairly straightforward.
DigiDragoon 2. mar. 2023 kl. 8:07
Could possible you make the toga compatible with biotech kids?
