If I may give a suggestion, if we were to mirror real world time period, the gear should be (in-game) Neolithic and not Medieval. In fact, the Fall of Rome was the event that STARTED the middle ages and to be even more precise, Lorica Segmentata, the Legion Armor of the mod, and the one most people know from movies and TV was already outdated and not in use 400 years BEFORE the Fall of Rome.
Also, most, if not all technologies from Vanilla Factions Expanded: Classical are also Neolithic to reflect the time period difference from medieval.
Is it OP for a Neolithic faction to have plate armor while the other still use leather/ cloth? Yes. But tbf, Rome was also OP af.
Late Roman Infantry mod for example is also Neolithic but this one, for balancing purposes could have been medieval.
So, with that said, if you could move it to the Neolithic tree I would appreciate it. Thanks!
Oh and if you know how maybe make the Roman factions in Vanilla Fcations Expanded Classical use this stuff?
In any case I've updated the mod to fix a few things, and Shields should only be available if you run Vanilla Expanded Framework now (it didn't have the strict dependency before).
