Cheers. Yeah I ran it on test too. Not much, if anything, in that regard has changed.
@Wyldething97
You may have mod conflicting with this mod and/or bad download. I'd try unsub from this mod, exit ATS, maybe restart pc, Then Load ATS again and re-sub to mod, Check other mods aren't conflicting.
So it's suddenly stopped working in convoy?
This mod has been posted for a year and you're the first to report this.
Are you sure you have no other w900 dash mods active?
Cheers.
yeah, the mod will work with any truck that uses the SCS W900 dashboard files.
It also works great with Jon Ruda Kenworth
Mod works right in 1.48
Cheers. It does, yeah, but the game_data.sii file has changed. It has extra code in it and I want the mod to be current.
Material is not located in correct path. Please reconvert mod resource.
Thing is the mat file points to the right location and contents of the TOBJ file point to the same location for the DDS file. So I guess not understanding what it is telling me.
??
In my dashboard I have 3 statements that still give me an issue txt.kw900l.num , txt.kw900l.val_num and txt.kw900l.test_wrn so I change them all to look_template: txt.kenworth.text0 while this got rid of the errors its bound to stuff something else up in the actual game. will try deleting the aux and see what happens
In those .mat files, look for this line:
aux[1] : { 0 , 0 }
remove it from the mat file and save.
Do you know about Notepad++ ??
any text template you want to reference must exist in the "template" file.
I have used ui::text_template : txt.long.???
So this is the conflict they might be referring to being the same as something already used in ATS
'dashboard' and 'template'
In the dashboard folder is the file that contains all the data for the dash. Where things are, what's showing in that space, etc.
The 'template' folder file is where the look_template attributes are found.
I simply renamed mine so they don't interefere with the SCS one because I changed the size and scale of some fonts to make the CC and Speed numbers bigger and a different colour.
example your Dashboard and my Dashboard are so similar yet when I try running my truck through SCS Workshop uploader I get lots of errors and warning about dangling pointers. If I look for comparison yours might say look_template: txt.kw_w900. Where mine will say look_template: txt.kenworth. Trying to learn how to fix the error
Certainly. Tickets are available at reception :)
If Ruda's W900 uses the SCS dashboard file, yes.
Now if everyone sent me a dollar each ...
LOL
cheers :)
(Realism is fine in a simulation game, but it should never be given priority over Gameplay and Immersion.) Thanks for making the W900 nice to drive again!
But thanks :)
Not a glitch. I made it that way. I couldn't enlarge the digits enough (especially the gear display) so I changed the colour to an off-white. They stand out better now.
Mod updates are always described in the main description above.
Great thanks
Thanks, but I haven't actually done anything to it yet.
