Well upon firther looking into the matter it is because of this mod i really do wish you could do 8 slot minor settlements the one that is on workshop works only with old world

This mod (while no longer maintained) only makes changes to 1 table in the game files. Idk if the AI places weight on the number of slots in a settlement but I do know they love military recruitment buildings.

DOes this mod cause vassalization to be extremely easy? i gift tier 2 major settlement and this gives me like 150 acceptance

I based my mods off of Myxameno's and they're currently AWOL. I've been using ChopChop's 18 slot in the meantime.

Tried to find the 18 slot major on Chopchops page and could only see 12 slot :9

FYI your mod still works in 6.0 (both 20 slot & 6 slot for minor, tested with Ogres on New World map) if you wanted to update so it gets the green tick :)

I’ve stopped updating this for now and instead I just use ChopChop’s building expansion mods. He’s got an 8 slot minor settlement mod that works great. The major settlement one only goes to 18 slots but outside of a couple settlements (Altdorf) that have tons of modded landmarks it’s not much of a constraint.

Can I ask which of your other minor settlement mods would work best with this one (20 slot major) & if I also wanted 5-6 slot minor settlements? Playing as Ogres if that helps, so need large minors for them, & big capital for the other races Thanks :)

@Rex53 I’ve never used Hooveric’s Overhaul but I would assume any incompatibilities are between it and Mixu’s Unlocker. This just changes some values in a Mixu table so anything that’s compatible with this will be too.

Hello, I have a question about your mod, it doesn't work when I activate "Hooveric Overhaul", the curious thing is that before this version of the game it did work, but now it doesn't anymore, and I was wondering if you would know why it fails?

@SCP-049, the proper mod load order is just the default. As long as you run the required mods it should work fine. If you run another mod that also touches major settlement slots (such as one of Myxameno’s) it’ll use whichever is highest in the load order.

What is the proper load order? is there any compactibility issues not mentioned?
I am trying to get this mod to work along side the Tier 4/5 + 6 building slot for Minor Settlements mods; but it does not want to work.
I only get the maximum vanilla slots, not 20

I've heard of conflicts between Radious and and building slot mods, I'd look there first.

Moved from UGSCC 3 rows submod as i thought it was this causing the main mod to not work, but so far still can't find which mod causes it to not work since 5.0, and already did verified one by one to make my modlist work already. Radious and Mixer seems to work fine on their own, but whenever it's the main BSE mod, it doesn't want to and still can't figure why, anyone had issues with specific mods or anything ? *thinking*

It might be possible with IEE and TOW campaigns bc apparently ChaosRobie didn’t use the same slot caps as Mixu. I’ll have to check to see if it’s possible and I just haven’t had the time with a newborn.

Okay, I have found the culprit being the Radious Submod which came out recently, for some reason it seems to block this mod from working and resets the building slots to 10 and 5 for minor settlements. Turning it off seems to have restored the slots back to normal (20/6)

Hi, playing as Miao Ying and her main settlement Nan-Gau. I am using Radious and a bunch of other mods which add unts etc. I am also using the recommended mods above (Minor settlements 6 building slots) and the compatibility sub-mod as I have Tier 4 Alaryns. I never had an issue before with building slots, it's only since the new 5.0 Update

Hi, so I have this installed but when I play as Cathay, I am only getting 10 slots from the start, even after upgrading to Tier 5 it stays at 10. If I play as Empire I can see all 20 slots, upgrading the Tiers will unlock additional slots. Mod has already been updated so not sure what the issue is

@jojobe, Mixu’s Unlocker doesn’t actually increase the building slots for settlements, it just opens up the functionality for mods like this to do so. You’re welcome to test this for yourself by using Mixu’s Unlocker with and without this mod.

I do not understand something. Mixu's unlocker says built in its mod major cities have 20 slots minor 6 so is this some sorta stand alone mod... i do not understand why do i need to down load this if the Mixus already had this integrated in the mod.

@Illusive Madden, I'm pretty sure referencing some things can cause crashes but it depends on the table. In this mod's case it doesn't cause crashing and you're welcome to test for yourself. If it did it would either CTD at game launch or campaign start/load in.

@Cheesy, Did CA fix the crash when referencing things in other mods that weren't currently loaded? My game runs just fine, but looking into your files I see you have sections for all OVN factions and others that I don't currently have running.

I used to add modded heroes/lords myself to the talent/skill dump mods, but iirc in ~4.0-4.2 they removed that functionality and it broke a lot of the broad scope compatibility mods I would run.

I suppose I could test on my end, but was curious if you knew. Thanks for your time!

This is most likely just the game itself, but when playing Malakai Makaisson, capitals keep saying "Building upgrade available", even when I built all of the available buildings.
I suspect it is something to do with the Trinket Maker and Trading Depot buildings.

This doesn’t need an update but it probably needs extra entries for the Black Sun Fleet mod
