@DIOM Thank you, this looks exactly like what I needed! I used to edit the old files myself, but found that they looked nothing like before and so couldn't figure it out this time.

Aparently it's removing the new shipsets and the new cities :(

I have no idea if this is/will be compatible with current/future versions.
But the method used to remove species should still work.
Very simple edits. You can do it!

You can restore any species by deleting the appropriate "#" in the mod file.
They are only commented out not deleted.

Yes but no.
Scripted species such as the Prikki-Ti may still spawn and require further modding to remove.
See Mod: "no Prikki-Ti" for example.

Please tell me you blotted out the Prikkikki Ti? Or is that what you mean by gecko's?
