Hi deceased, thank you for the time and effort put into this mod it is much appreciated.

I am just learning the basics of modding and so far have managed to change aspects of overrides (where permission is given of course).

I have added a few more vehicles into the config from your mod but it lead to cars de-spawning, i think where i was going wrong was i was adding the individual cars, as in the different colours of the same car instead of just the base classname, am i on the right path with this?

Okay. I tried several vanilla vehicles from Berezino to Elektrozavodsk and the fuel needle only went 2mm.

Hello, am I doing something wrong? I tested the vanilla vehicles and then with the mod and the consumption is the same. I only use the ac-mod-pack mod, vppadmintools and CF.

Lol why do You argue friends and offend each other? I think, this mod should have the file wrote in .json format where every server owner will have a chance to set up own consumption values. What is the problem then? Well the problem is either the owner of this mod doesnt know how to make this type of the file or it is too difficult for him or maybe want to get money to edit the consumption values upon request. There is nothing else, simply. So problem solved friends :)

How am I clowning for saying that 8x gas consumption is a little ridiculous lol, 2-3x would be better is all. It's not like it's hard to find gas in your servers with the loot boosted as high as you have it. Check your ego bud.

All of Chernarus is about 70 square miles or 182 sqkm. The Skoda 120 (Sarka 120) has about a 10 gallon (37.85 l) fuel tank. If the Skoda 120 has about 15mpg (15.68 l/100 km) you should be able to drive quite far on a tank of gas. The Skoda in vanilla DayZ has about 7 L/100 km (33.6 mpg). 8X higher fuel consumption seems to be not even slightly realistic lol. In fact, it seems comically exaggerated.

Some of the ones you mentioned are vanilla vehicles that are already in this mod. If you'd like to change others, you are more than welcome to unpack this mod and add new properties for any other vehicles. Just gotta check in original script how much fuel they take then just multiply by 8. That's the math I decided to go with and might be a good starting ground for you. Cheers!

I forgot to post that repacking is allowed. I was restricting it in the beginning because I thought I’d keep working on it, so people would get their updates. I don’t really care about repacks anymore, people still do it whether you like it or not. But yeah you’re welcome; it’s pretty basic but it works! You should check out my improved M3S mod that improves the vanilla truck significantly. Cheers.

Overyone who is able to repack will just copy the code and make new (their own) .pbo out of that.

Individually within each vehicle yes, but you'd also need to check each vehicle's current consumption in said mods. So unpack them, get data, increase it in a new mod. Feel free to join my discord and hit me up on there, maybe you can help me with these and I'll make it happen, as well as give ya a credit.

Looks like that other mod already has its own config for fuel consumption. if you're going to use both, one would override another one.

@ManLikeChrisGray I'll try to work on it soon. And no, its all done in code. If you know modding I can possibly teach you how so you can adjust it for your own use.
