really good map, i have 1 issue, anti tank guns and the sorts can't cross the bridges in the center part of the map .

- Visual tweaks
- Added foot bridges on either side, they start destroyed. To help long game stalemates. These bridges are not tied to zones.

Spent about an hour and a half stalemate as the bridges were down 100% of the time. Couldn't even repair them with randoms camping the other side or spamming air and artillery. Ended up just quitting out. I wasn't about to sit there for another hour and a half trying to break their defenses. Maybe a version of the map with land bridges instead of breakable bridges? Other than that I really did like the map.

I'm not sure which bridge it is but
It should be the central bridge connecting the lower right area. After it was destroyed and rebuilt, it did not allow light and medium-sized vehicles to pass, but heavy vehicles and infantry could.

Updates,

- Did a art pass, redid all the roads.
- Removed ship/playbill so VP works again. Put back mines in the middle.
- cleaned out and flatten HQ area's.
- Many others tweaks.

The problem seems to be VP matches. For now this map doesnt support VP only Annihilation maps. There is a bug with the scripts and VP.

Hi, for me it does not load when using Game Modes+ mod.... just hangs after starting with black screen, but you can quit back to main menu.

Massive update:
- As this was one of my first coh3 maps, and still gets played a lot I guess folks like the style. :)
- Everything updated. Basically I kept the same premise, but changed everything else with trenches, buildings, roads, etc. etc. etc.

Stilll have some art work to do, but basically all is there for good old times. Left the original picture of the center island as reference of old. lol

Map changed name. No longer (8) Sherwood Forest, now is called (8) Oil Island.

Well this map was one of my first maps for coh3 coming back to mapping after years. Started noticing it showing up in custom maps, so I went back and did some updates make it dirty and nicer... :)

Updates,
- Fixed water.
- Fixed atmosphere.
- Redid grounds around bridges so they work much better.
- Redid all the capture points to make AI much harder.
- Retextured most of the map
- Added grass.
- Lowered rocks.
- Many more tweaks.

Thank you all... I tried to replicate the glitch mentioned below with heavy tanks and can't. I'll keep trying... not sure if this is a Relic bug (unfixable) or map bug. will keep testing on my end....

I like the design. The water appears to be glitched and the bridges do not allow some heavy tanks to cross

Tip 1 (Fog of War).
I had some trouble getting the fog of war to work on my map so I copy paste the athospheric properties from a base-game level to use as a template for my own map. This gets you a working FoW.

Tip 2 (Minimap).
1. Right klick on 'Scenario' in the drop down list on your left side and select 'properties'.
2. In the Properties window (ScenarioProxy) on your right side you will now see a tab called 'Minimap', check the box 'Stylized Minimap Enabled'.
3. Klick the [...] on 'Stylized Minimap Pipeline Path' and select 'anvil_secondary_material_splats_strips'.
