are mod engines not compatible with this mod? i swear i used to be able to use slav jerrys mods with this truck?

One thing I haven’t seen on any vintage trucks yet are flapper exhaust stacks. Do any have them? They’re the coolest ones. This one especially should have them, yeah?

The Peterbilt 350 was Peterbilt’s first cabover model. During the 1950s stringent regulations limited the length that a truck and trailer could be. Due to this, the COE or Cab-Over Engine, became a popular choice because it maximized payload capacities. It also allowed drivers a clearer view of the road ahead and provided greater maneuverability. However, with the engine being directly underneath the cab, a long journey could often get noisy and uncomfortable. The engine could also be difficult to get into. The hood pops up and the fenders swing outward to allow engine access, but it was still very cramped. Later, truck manufacturers would develop tilt-cabs to make maintenance easier. Cab-over style trucks began to fall out of favor in the late 1970s when length regulations increased. The Peterbilt 350s were only produced between 1950 and 1956, so this may be one of the last 350s ever built before the introduction of the 351 model.

3000 hours on ATS Red Wolf and you didn't even know about the COE :D yes there was, there's even a mod for ATS for one but it's not very well done and I think very outdated. Thanks so much Smarty! Is the 351 the same? :peterbilt.351_scr ?

There totally was a 350 COE. There was even a short-lived 351 COE. For now, I'm working my way through the little window conventionals.

drebin, there was never a 350 cabover. there was a 352 qnd a 362 from Peterbilt

Can I suggest 350 cabover option or seperate mod? :)

Also wondering what the name of this truck is for .def file, I want to add zeemods, I think I asked a long time ago but I cannot find the name for the life of me.

Gonna go ahead and ask a potentially stupid question. Is it normal that it can barely pull a trailer on flat ground and stalls on a slight incline? Lovely truck btw.

Looks more like you're having an issue with a wheel mod

The only thing i found is the template is missing half the truck hopefully that will be fixed soon

To update, unless the truck has been updated since my previous comment on the 17th I think it was maybe jon rudas flares pack that was causing the pink texture. Should've known to try it on it's own before commenting, sorry! Thanks for all your work Smarty!

I will also add, the rims for this truck are showing as pink missing textures on the inside hubs caps for 1.50. only for the front wheels.. wonder if it's the tyres maybe? Been a while since I last played.

Thank you so much Smarty for this mod, its a great truck. I find it very relaxing to drive around at a steady pace with a flatbed on the back doing short to medium hauls. Get to take in a lot more of the great scenery that SCS have gone to a lot of work to create. Thanks again, your work is very much appreciated.

does anyone know a mod or settings to get this truck to be able to do at least 55 i haven't unlocked all engines but i can only seem to get 45 understandable to a point but frustrating. i want to use this truck more but it takes a lot longer to do jobs. thanks in advance for the help guys!

can we get a two stroke detroit pack like there used to be a 6v71, 8v71, 12v71, and even a 16v71 if ya think about it and ofc a 8v92s refined sound would be amazing as well
