Ghosts are online players,
internally online players are referred to as Ghost Players.

Press F on Keyboard or Left-Stick on Controller to opent he Emote wheel.

You do need to own either Nyakuza DLC or Vanessa's Curse DLC for access to online and the emotes.

If you have the game active as Vanessa curse starts apparently you will be stuck in the animation until the round ends
