There's a small "bug" when you're carrying the chainsaw on your back and holding a gas can.
When you try to throw the gas can (with the chainsaw on your back and low on gas), the animation will play as if the chainsaw is being refilled.
So this needs to be fixed, and for now, I recommend this mod to throw all items and weapons in the game: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3478881042
I have no idea why it won't work with that chainsaw as there is no script in that mod. I even deleted everything but the model files in the package and the problem still persisted. Very weird.
I use the upgraded version so idk if this is an issue with this one, but on scavenge maps (like the end of the first l4d2 campaign) you can refuel from anywhere.
Leading to a problem, after filling chainsaw, it's not full.
Maybe change the "30" to a dynamic value from default-clip or others?
I was playing on L4D1's campaigns. (No Mercy)
P.S. By the way, you can use other script mods to increase the fuel of a chainsaw and... DO NOT conflict! True, there is a nuance - with this mod for refueling a chainsaw, you will NOT completely refuel the chainsaw, even no matter how much you refueled 100 cans of fuel and completely, we expect from the author of a SPECIAL mod-script for increasing fuel with refueling
(I tried to add 2 canister twice, it doesn't help, there are no other chainsaw mods)
Left4bots seeks a specific point_use_prop target entity for gascans without taking into account when it spawned or when it was created or if it is in any form part off the map itself. The same bug will happen with any sourcemod extensions doing the same thing by making chainsaws refuelable or spawning a point_use_prop target entity.
This is something the developer for Left4Bots should fix himself as it's out off my control. As the same would happen if you would play a custom map with a unreachable point_use_prop target entity.
it seems useful at first but then you find out they do it anyway even though you haven't dropped the chainsaw and they will be deadset on getting a red gascan even though its on unreachable surfaces.
THANK YOU!!
