one last clarity pepsi i brought up the x8 ultimate because the maverick hunter mod had the x8 ultimate armor (so in other words it would complete the collection of armor featured in the mod a lot of people have been waiting years for that to be completed to no avail)

ey pepsiman you ever thought about doing the dive busters? there may not be armors for it in the megaman mod but hey youd have some serious firepower both charged shots for the dive armors are like the icarus armor only the dive armor is more powerful and the next dive armor's beam is a bit bigger and way more powerful

ey pepsiman question i was playing maverick hunter x recently and it got me thinking you ever thought about doing the z buster? the mk1 z buster is the same shape as the light buster up to you if you wanna do mk 2 tho

Given how slow the attacks appear to be toggling and seem to require switching away from the toolbar slot before going back to it, to fire it again, is it safe to assume that this mod and the RPG Growth mod are incompatible?

from what ive noticed with the Spidermines, they look like they use monster files. i havent touched such a file since i put Bullet Kin in my game.
id try the forums again, but i dont wanna spam the place. already posted 2 things there in the past couple months, and they havent been bumped to page 2 yet

hey least if you change your mind all you'd basically need to do is use the same code but different sounds and as i said i have seen some mods that have crawling projectiles have you tried asking around?

didnt feel x8's ultimate buster was required since it's pretty much covered.
if it was truly finished, the boss weapons would be implemented into each buster with charged variants. would i love to do it? of course! do i know how to? 0 clue. i'd need to do a huge amount of scripting for the projectiles alone to get a start on proper functionality. crawling projectiles, projectiles that travel based on your position, primary fire that's guided by your cursor, i can go on. what they were doing was a masterpiece. what i did is naught but a tribute.

you did miss the x8 ultimate but hey overall im impressed i compared them with the megaman x mod armors and they looked very good you finished what they couldnt stupendous job pepsimann

@BBAPepsiMann Same. I'd love to see some reploid/carbon spawns for it in the future. It's still a heavy WIP from what I can tell and I do believe we may get those in a future update.

Thanks for this amazing mod, I'd also recommend the Mega Man: Starstruck mod to go along with this one as well. It's more Zero/ZX/Legends focused but pairs perfectly with its reploid race

unless i i somehow have a crawling projectile .lua land in my lap, Ver. 1.1.0 may very well be my last major update for this mod.

if you need armors to go with these busters, go to google and look up "starbound mmx". there, you should find a Chucklefish forum link to 'Maverick-Hunters MMX', a key inspiration for this mod. it originally had weapons, vehicles, and more, but then Starbound changed its coding in various places. the armors in there are still able to be obtained, and they look quite snazzy.

twas an honor to work on this weapon set. if i find any problems within my control that need fixin, then there may be a patch or 3 later on.

i'd just like to let everyone know that i have officially started a default buster update for this. unfortunately, i've hit a few snags already.
current snags include:
- different firing sounds for different charge levels
- making the charge start sound finish before the full charge sound starts
- turning off the fullbright light when buster is not being charged or fired

Chameleon Sting is a weapon that used a vanilla weapon as its base-most component. it does not use a custom weapon.lua, gun.lua, or gunfire.lua like what this .log entry is suggesting.
as for what mod is conflicting, i have no idea. the entry doesnt tell me that information.

as for muzzleflash and fullbright, those are just missing texture files that aren't required of the modded weapon to function as intended.

I looked at my starbound.log file, and there were some errors associated with this mod. One when obtaining a weapon (some missing asset stuff), and when firing the weapon there is a bad argument, something to do with muzzle flash?

@BBAPepsiMann All I can think of is a pair of mods, Weapon Retrofitting Station combined with Ability Slot Extender Redone. However, those would only affect weapons that have been run through the weapon retrofitting station, which I had not done.

probably a compatibility issue. if you have one that changes weapon functionality in any way, that's likely it.

I am having an issue with this mod. Whenever I try firing any of the weapons, my arm gets frozen in whichever direction I was aiming, and I cannot fire anymore. I have to stow the weapon or switch to something else and back in order to fire again.

the 3 that use custom weapon scripts are
Boomerang Cutter
Strike Chain
Ray Splasher

the first 2 are just to set the handGrip to wrap since weapons of those types typically dont, and the last is to make sure once specific projectile goes first in a burst chain of 7

Some of these tend to break after the first use, but re-equipping them fixes it. However, this means high-firerate weapons basically break instantly upon use, so you'd have to spam Z (or whatever you have set for "Deselect Hands") a lot.

Boomerang Cutter works just fine though, although its stats are non-existent just like all the other vanilla boomerang weapons lol

Ah I see! Yeah that is pretty tough to figure out how to properly build it within Starbound's limitations. Oh well I will enjoy this mod as is anyways! :supersharp:

If your looking for a way to make charge attacks I know that the MLP FIM mod has the harmony cannon that is a charged attack. :SoM_Flammie:
