I figured it out. You gotta edit the GameUserSettings.ini file located at [SteamInstallDrive]Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

I don't know for sure, but you probably gotta run the game once with this mod installed to get the settings file to update. After that, close the game and edit the settings file with notepad. The entries for this mod should be towards the very bottom of the file. Some of the entries might not be there. If not, simply copy paste them to a new line from this mod's description page and tweak them to your liking.

Notable highlights:
TeleportDinosMaxDragWeight=999 will allow you to bring Gigas into boss arenas.
BossArenaAllowsCryopods=True will let you use cryopods in boss arenas.
PreventClimbers=False will let you bring climbing dinos like Thylas into boss arenas. (Just heads up that the Thyla's bleed debuff has no effect on bosses.)

@F8nted it bypasses the mission requirements completely, so anyone can activate it or go to the boss fight when activated.

does the ''gen2 skip missions required'' allow anyone to bypass the missions or does someone still need to do the missions to active it but they can now bring their tribemates into the boss fight?

I did destroywilddinos on my singleplayer and nothing is spawning. I been going around for more than 20 minutes but nothing. Do you think there is something messing with spawning?

@Coovargo as mentioned already it's not currently possible, the final boss is technically also a mission and uses the exact same system that general missions do, i've spent a lot of time on figuring out the possibility of changing these missions but it never worked out and no one to my knowledge has managed to make changes to them either.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, It's not for the general missions, but the final boss. Hence, the VRBattle. In testing I was able to change it and make it work in the editor.

Looks like it's under MissionType_VRBattle_FinalStage, really the last phase makes this impossible for people to solo on my server so, this would allow for that. Something like 10 or 20 vs 40 per shield drop.
I don't know how to bind variables to GameUserSettings.INI, and it's probably even more technical than that.

@123 what map specifically? should be fine though the rhyniognatha patch shouldn't be causing any issues with this mod.

Also have ArkApi latest, with PlannedPvP plugin installed, if that is a thing of conflict, which I doubt.

@Kepper Orion that bypasses the need for any requirements at all, also it should be working fine after a reload, i can't seem to be able to reproduce it, what edits did you make exactly on a new world?

Should this be Gen2SkipMissionsRequirement=True IF changing the number of mission requirements to something like GenesisMissionsRequiredGamma=17?

Or does this bypass the need for any requirement at all, and therefore ignore any edits to the number of missions boolean?

Also upon the first load of a new world, the edits seemed to work on Gen2 missions, but any edits thereafter did not take effect, is it recommended to remove mode, SaveWorld, and then restore mod to be able to re-apply any changes?

I have been unsuccessful in getting the mod config to work again, after editing it.

I did do some testing with only this mod and had issues with the tek suit setting specifically but its whatever, i wasnt really using it for anything but reducing the titan spawning cooldowns anyways.
Also it might have had to do with the fact that the server was completely fresh so no one ever joined it before idk if that could've affected it.
I might do some more testing tmrw to see if anything changed after i played on it for a bit, otherwise ill just not use that setting :)

@torwakeo I would check that you don't have other mods that might be conflicting with the changes you're making, I've had my genesis server running for days/weeks with several changes and no crashes so far so it's hard to say if it's really this mod causing it, especially when it costs a lot of ram to run genesis without mods as it is, I would try experimenting it on other maps and see if it's causing any issues.

Edit: it might be an issue with genesis servers just not liking changes to the boss fight tried it with only the option that allows tek suits enabled and it still crashed after a while, but its fine as i said i dont neccessarily need it and its doing fine with the mod as long as settings are default.

Some settings seem to cause memory leaks on Genesis 1 servers
I recently beat started with Gen1 and it had memory leaks for a while i updated everything and tried all my mods including a bunch of other ones from you that i also use (all incredible mods btw :) and this one seems to be causing the problem
I didnt try every setting one by one but the ones i had changed were allowing tek suits, flyers, climbers, as well as increasing drag weight allowed to 2000 and max creatures to 30.( fjordur and extinction boss cooldowns were also lowered in case it matters)
Putting all settings to default fixed the issue.
Its no big deal for me but i wanted to share what i figured out i can play without the mod for the time being.

Ok, yeah we're using Dino Storage v2 already but with default settings. Looking into that now I can see there is a setting to allow release within the Tek Cave.

@Mandu I also look into that and unfortunately that's likely handled by the map as well, the only alternative is to use a cryopod mod that allows it such as Dino Storage v2

Yeah I figured there must be something about the Tek Cave that's different.
Been testing a couple different mods that allow making changes to boss arenas but all of them have the same limitation when it comes to the Tek Cave.
Do you know if there is a way to at least make the "walk in time" of 5mins configurable (or just flat out set it to some higher value) without using a map extension? Because that is the main reason I was looking for a mod to use cryopods. The walking in part is just a nightmare with the dinos getting stuck and blocking each other.

@Mandu it's already been mentioned that this is the case, tek cave works differently than regular boss arenas so there's not really a way to make changes to it unfortunately at least not without creating a map extension for the island.

Thank you I'll try that, I did notice it takes a rather long time for HLNA to spawn with that mod on so could be the delay simply isn't long enough but that command should definitely do it thank you

@Sapphire i did try to add a delay to try and get around that but if it still isn't working then there's not a lot i can do, if you have admin commands you can deactivate the buff and then enable it again and that should work.

Oh also just a suggestion that could be added in the future maybe, no rush, having individual configs for flyers only in specific arenas (eg Flyers disabled in SpiderL and Gorilla arenas but allowed in Dragon arena)

@Dazza for question 1 i will have an update pushed out shortly that should let you change the cooldown timer on the titans, as for question 2 this will also be changed to prevent arena's that normally allow flyers from being disabled as i did not account for this.

I have two questions:
- Does the cooldown config also affect the Extinction Titans cooldown timers?
- If I have the AllowFlyers config still set to False will that affect the boss arenas that normally allow flyers into their arenas (ie SE Manticore or CI Boss Arenas)?

Really looking to testing this mod!

Something that I personally would love to see is a config for, say, "Allowed Number of Dinos above drag weight limit."

The idea being that maybe you want to allow Gigas/Carcha's or whatever into the arena, but only 1 or 2 of them so that they don't invalidate traditional Rex/Therizino/Megatherium armies.

@Childsplay.pac The only thing mentioned there that could work is allowing climbers which i kind of forgot about as making changes to genesis missions is not possible because the system works entirely differently than the standard map bosses and cannot be changed.

Are the following ideas possible? 1. Allow climbers. (such as Thylacoleo, Megalania, etc.), 2. Allow use for all items and Cryopods in the Genesis gauntlet missions. (Parts 1 and 2) , 3. Prevent all boss tributes from consuming their required items (like the Tek Cave) 4. Configure the size of the boss portals when entering an arena.
