Also the Alien Language research item never shows up in the research tab despite having encountered the alien ship. Improved laser pistol hasn't shown up.
Something that would be nice to see is the ability to break down and reverse engineer advanced items for some amount of research credit.

So if I want to research "superior improved solar" I am required by this mod to first research something called "improved solar cells" but "improved solar cells" doesn't exist anywhere, under research or as a build-able item/craft-able item
Same with "Graphene Solar Cells" and "Battery Optimization"
Would love the ability to just have the new version boost X above the base item, a modest increase like the carbon vs. default windmills do now. The increased materials cost per unit and the research cost balances that without making it uber powered.
I think the carbon windmills in base game is double output for either 50% or 100% more materials cost, including carbon tubes vs. plain metal which is a task just to get it either through research first or killing a lot of bugs. Having more fun things to research and build towards is always fun, just not making them so OP you never really need to make more than a few of them.
Love the idea of this mod because just building solar or wind to meet ever increasing requirements is plain annoying. Having the carbon wind farm makes sense from a tech increase.
Just a few hopefully minor tweaks and this is a great add-on
One of my saves have one pole like this and reloading the game does not fix the problem pole.

I would love to have a stunner turret.
P.S. You can't edit the file while the game is open or it will try to revert the changes made so after you open the file location close the game and the manager.
(more electronic,, then more cpu, then more cpu then carbon, then more carbon)
And with each higher production, lesser maintence and higher output (life, damage, energy)
As far as I see with those 5 mods I am using Beyond Stranded, Grain Silo, Translation, Cheat Printer and your mod imroved Power & Defences the game gets to the point were it is quite playable.
Beyond Stranded and your mod reduce the need of tousand of structure to get to the point because either the storage gets more efficient or the outcome needs less space like for energy production which reduces the maintance time and amounts.
