I'm not working on barotrauma mods anytime soon. You're better off forking this mod and adjusting it yourself.

I thought it'd be simple but I don't code nor normally mod.

Must be only the Arc Welder and the Metalfoam Gun that needed to be fixed.

I was thinking the Metalform Gun may have some modified ammunition whose template structure I could simply learn from, copy & paste and modify...

The carts work, yeah.
Maybe I'll get the fixes in for AI but I don't really touch this game much anymore. If you want you can feel free to fork this mod and edit it yourself.

Seems you've to apply fixes like this one to the mod. https://github.com/Regalis11/Barotrauma/issues/5527 (Bots can't use arc welder.)

Oh, and I just found another thing. No idea why, but switching from the vanilla Rifle to the Ion Cutter doesn't work, you need to switch to another item before switching to the Ion Cutter.

Hey, would you mind trying to fix the bug with the rebreathers that deletes the batteries in them after every level when in a container? This has been a problem with the main mod for quite a while now and I really wish I could use the rebreathers without slowly losing all my fulgarium.

The first EK utility had a problem where an electric drill could be attached to a firearm.
Can this be reworked?

@millimeter Yes, I know exactly what's causing it but to fix it I'd need to fix every single individual dense material variant. That'd be a LOT of work I don't have the time for atm. Your best bet is loading the original EK mod, getting your materials, then switching it off.

Generally to keep my fabricator organized I use lots of storage containers inside the locker ~ it makes everything really easy.

@Zenith The purpose of the Rod carrier was to move volatile rods around, like the fulgurium ones without damaging yourself and people around you, it also worked with ITA's rod system which is similar to the volatile rods we have in the vanilla game but for every rod.

Have you figured out what was causing dense materials to dupe? I was like half way through a campaign with a friend and we put it on hold until those can be added back dupe free. They make storing so much easier for mats. Sadly all are mars are literally stored like that as well.

Is it possible to add the Mining Backpack?

And on that note, a consideration for balance would be backpack cost. A tool belt is 2 organic fiber. A medical backpack is 2 organic fiber and one plastic - there is very little reason to craft a belt as is.

An increase in backpack organic fiber cost or a change from organic to ballistic fiber, I feel, would help balance belts and backpacks.

Yeah no on the label printer for my sanity. Adds Individual ekutility_label_"name" for every single item in the game. The sanity of the OG EK Utility dev, I understand why he doesn't wanna look at this anymore lol. Someone should fork that and make it a separate mod.

Electroflare and medical scanner sound easy, no promises on the rocketbelt/label printer though ~ they rely on some funky functionalities.

The base game flares are awful for any extended use (mining) and are also super dim.

The Rocketbelt was just silly fun, but actually useful in some wrecks from wreck mods.

I want to harass my crew by labeling absolutely everything in the sub.

(Our Medic might appreciate the handheld medical scanner if you feel like adding that as well.)

I take that back, I was wrong, the arc welder ACTUALLY repairs at the speed of a regular welder, maybe in the past, there was a difference, in the days when I used the rebalance mod.

Besides, the arc welder fixes 25% faster, which is a very noticeable difference, in a case where a regular welder can handle in 2-2.5 seconds, the arc welder will fix the leak lightning fast

i guess the only unbalanced thing is that it uses batteries and not welding fuel. I honestly wouldnt call it unbalanced it just removes the annoyance of looking for ethanol to refill tanks

Is it really? In the files It shares repair stats with the vanilla welding tool outside of using a battery.
How's it compare with the original game items? I never really thought about it since we ALWAYS use it lol.
