The font doesn't permanently stay.

I will try changing resolutions since just subsribing and downloading the font didnt work. I might need to put the font in the game files aswell.

Just install it, just press the install button.

where to put the TF2 build file or just open and install it?

As far I as know, this method has worked for me.

1. Install TF2 Build TrueType Font
2. Open Left 4 Dead 2
3. If my font addon is loaded, change resolutions.

Hmmm, try putting it in your addons folder and use a mat_setvideomode autoexec script.

If that still doesn't work, try installing the TF2 Build TrueType Font.
