Worked much better stopped shooting my drone because AI are cheated keep shooting at height 300m away was annoyed keep destroyed my drone.

@Hiroshima, I've just checked and the mod (and the script) work fine still. Both separately and in tandem.
@vladus, never came across such an error, sorry. Reinstall/repair the mod, and look for conflicts with other mods.

Thanks for this. I like to use 40m as the detection zone and your script didn't work for me as I found I needed to create a drone compatible with my faction. Playing Antistasi I had to use I_UAV_01_F as the class name for an AAF Drone. I can now create a faction compatible drone with your script using 40m as the detection radius. Do you know... If you create one using Zeus, is there a snippet of code you can execute on the object you spawn that will do the same thing and customize the detection for that spawned drone?

if you could make a version where it ignores drones completely that´d be awesome.
Like this, tank traverses the turret and snipes me with an mg 80m away instantly. I know you provided the script, but im not really sure how it works. Cheers

This mod and your other mod share a bikey, do they both need to be loaded by a dedicated server to work properly?

@_mickey_, hi:) just the use the script in the mod description:) The distance is arbitrary for gameplay anyway as it only influences your zoom level and default Arma drones are limited with their zoom.

"AI will ignore the player's small drone when it's above 80m alt" - I sure it's unrealistic, AI must to see and be able to shoot down drones at this altitude. The height at which it will ignore small drones should be significantly higher. Seems to me , must be within a 150-200 m. It would be great if you added CBA settings for the player himself to select this height.

@BlackKnight thanks, Arma3 moves in mysterious ways - the mod is super simple and specifically targets UAV behaviour (_myUAV = getConnectedUAV player). I think I'll just leave this as is for now as I've no idea where helicopters can sometimes enter the logic above.
@black_rose don't quote me on that, but that's what I've been told :)

I got this randomly when the ais stepped out of the vehicle after an ambush in Aegean Spear Operation by Wiki. Got one when I disembark AIs out of helicopter when starting scenario Ham Province. When I unloaded this mod, happen no more.

Hi, i would like to report a bizarre bug, that when i apply this mod in a campaign or scenario, it completely make friendly ais in squad unable to move, i try to remote it with zeus is not responded too

Ah cool, fair enough. Although it'd be okay for them to spot it from that far if they face the drone and its a low enough altitude to be easily seen but yeah.

@Isaacdevil Good point, but the AI cannot shoot your drone when it's 1km away, so you CAN fly under 80m. In my tests, the default AI only started shooting once you got closer than 300m, and this part is preserved in the mod.

Why not just make the AI ignore it if its a certain distance away according to how loud it is rather than using altitude? That means an AI will instantly see a drone 1km away if its under 80m high which doesn't make sense unless it can easily be seen.

Just keep in mind that even small drones are usually very loud and can be heard from quite the distance away. :>

@Maple no they don't give a damn about it. Even if you're attacking the enemy using your UAV, they just ignore it until it's below 80-100 meters above ground level.
