Here is a list of all the workshop scenarios for the route.

What DLC Requirement ?
chris5012 17 Dec, 2018 @ 11:30pm
Very nice route indeed.

A glorious route - I've only just found the version with the branchline. I'm working on a version with more specific pre-grouping origins conveyed through signals and infrastructure (LNWR Mainline, Midland Suburban lines around Warrborough, NER Lines near Newton and some GNR lines too). I may do an SR and GWR version of the route too, and possibly even a pre-grouping version.

Found this route last year and I love it, Have made it my March route for my freeware year! first scenario is out today on my workshop. Great effort put into this one excellent quality.
Sam @ Blast Pipe Productions 1 Aug, 2017 @ 3:04am
@litreofcola, I've been making a modified version of this based in the midland region, changing all the track and station scenary, as well as some lineside scenary. Would I be able to release my version through my website (blastpipeproductions.jimdo.com) once it's finished, giving you full credit for the original route of course and linking people to it? It uses some freeware items for station signs, so I would be unable to release it through steam.

A real classic steam route, A must..
Sir Revz A Lot 22 Dec, 2016 @ 10:16pm
What routes are needed to make this one work?
msf4604 7 Oct, 2016 @ 11:25am
Hi I have been using this route for about a year and half. But out of the blue all the brigdes are no
longer visible. I have tried re-downloading the route but that did not work. Can anyone help?
Not.Silent 19 Apr, 2016 @ 4:13am
I too was pleasantly surprised by the detail on this route. It has a good mix of structures, rivers, factories, open country and an engine shed etc. I particularly appreciated the time put into getting the signal rod detail along the track to each signal, as correct as is possible using the software.
Well done.
sirrliv 25 Mar, 2016 @ 10:49pm
I'm pleasantly surprised by this route. Most Workshop routes I've sampled lately have honestly been rather disappointing, some even downright horrid, but I really like this one. Excellent attention to detail, good length for a decent run, yet mostly level track well befitting of the Midlands, an ambiance galore. One of the best Workshop routes I've seen. Very well done.

Only thing I'd suggest is adding morpeth boards (speed limit signs with the triangles underneath) to warn in advance of speed changes.

That's a 4MT Tank Revarnes, sold by Digital Traction.
It used to be sold on steam but not anymore.

SSS is in the process of making a new enhancement pack for it.

Thank you for doing this, I really enjoyed driving it early.
Iron Warrior 1 Oct, 2015 @ 10:02am
is there a route map for this route becuase i would love to use it in my series. Excellent work and please carry on. a loco perfect for this route would be an LNER q6
literofcola  [author] 21 Sep, 2015 @ 2:44am
*UPDATE* THE ROUTE HAS BEEN MADE FINAL* Thanks for pointing out some of the problems with the route. I have added in a platform for the colliery halt, but unfortunately I haven't been able to fix the freight service bug. This hopefully shouldn't affect scenarios much, I always tend to have all trains as a special anyway!

Thanks for the continued compliments. I hope everyone can now fully enjoy the route and upload your own scenarios.
afradwright 15 Sep, 2015 @ 3:09pm
Just wanted to add my thanks for this brilliant little route. I hardly run on anything else now as it has just about everything I want in a 50/60s themed line! Really nice attention to detail and it captures the atmosphere just right. Thank you very much for sharing it with us ;-)
WobblyTooth 13 Sep, 2015 @ 9:58am
Hi, I would like to say this is an amazing route, and I am really pleased that there is now a branch line on the route.
I would just like to mention, however, that there is no marker for what I presume is the halt for the colliery at Buthwaite.
Other than that, thanks for the great route.:steamhappy:
AllyourKitty 7 Sep, 2015 @ 3:51pm
I think the track is set to only allow passenger services, ie you can drive actual freight wagons but the service type must be set to either stopping passenger or express passenger.
ex-railwayman 7 Sep, 2015 @ 6:24am
Thanks a lot for expanding this, I did notice however, that all the nameplates for the station platforms and signalboxes have now disappeared, any plans to put them back in again, please?
Tufnel 2 Sep, 2015 @ 9:26pm
I noticed when I was creating a scenario it would accept freight trains, but if I classified them as passenger they would work.
Hope that helps.

regards
literofcola  [author] 2 Sep, 2015 @ 9:33am
*UPDATE* The route has now been extended by a couple of miles to the south to finish in a junction station adjacent to a large colliery. I have also completed the Canal branch at about 7 miles terminus to terminus. These additions allow for the longest and shortest journeys to be made along the route - short distance branch trains and long distance coal workings!

This update completes the route, and I am aiming to finalise it whithin the next week so scenarios can start to be published.

If there are any major (or indeed minor) problems with the route concerning trackwork etc. (for scenario writing) then please let me know. Happy train-simming!

literofcola  [author] 2 Sep, 2015 @ 9:25am
Thanks again everyone for the compliments for this route.

pjt1974 - Phil, could you possibly indicate which sections (or scenario paths) are giving you the most bother so that I can try to fix them before I finalise the route?
Celticdruid70 1 Sep, 2015 @ 1:28pm
As previously said this route is superb a great balanced track system with loads of options for running all kinds of consists. Great! One of the best routes on the workshop.
Tufnel 31 Aug, 2015 @ 4:23am
I have a scenario for this route, but I am unable to publish it as the route is not final. thanks
pjt1974 2 Jul, 2015 @ 5:37am
With your permission, would it be possible if I could to edit the route and fix some of the track property issues? Having taken a good look around on the route, the edit would only need to be minor and it would help scenario creation no end. Many thanks Phil
Revarnes 1 Jul, 2015 @ 8:51am
Also, the exstra packs.. Give me a link to them??? to the DLC?!!
Revarnes 1 Jul, 2015 @ 6:33am
Although.. can't make a scenario.. You sir, need to fix some problems on this route.. when i'm at newton platform 7, i tell the train (Player) to pick up passenger there.. fine, then if i try adding another stop at for example Hurnberg, it's all wrong, apparently there's no route to the destination.. (IT'S RIGHT AHEAD!!!) My thoughs are if you fix this route so it's able to run scenarios with, i can/will for sure build scenarios.
Revarnes 1 Jul, 2015 @ 4:58am
All i can say is Subr! You sir, really did a good job on this route! I'll be making scenarios on this route, and upload them to steam workshop. ;)
AllyourKitty 21 Jun, 2015 @ 11:23am
Is anyone else able to set a service to freight instead of passenger, the track rule dosn't seem to allow it and gives an error.
ex-railwayman 9 Apr, 2015 @ 1:25am
Absolutely outstanding, a superbly designed and constructed route, well done Steve, this is one of the best British fictional routes on Workshop by a million miles.
ShunterBill 24 Feb, 2015 @ 2:39pm
top marks excellent route well thought out well done
thefugue 4 Feb, 2015 @ 2:01pm

A very interesting, well constructed route. Thank you.
pjt1974 23 Jan, 2015 @ 8:57am
Subscribed after taking a run on GNOSR. Another quality route. Many thanks for the hard work
Sid Swindle 31 Dec, 2014 @ 2:10am
Hi literofcola, I have to agree with other subscribers, carear, standard, or free roam scenarios would be great to be available on this masterpiece of a route. Perhaps you (the artist) can make this possible, my freind. I did try to make up a Free Roam, but when I came to build, all I came accross was hundreds of miles of green pasture ha-ha, I could not find the route at all. All the best wishes for New Year, my freind. (COLIN.D.) ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND, U.K.
Sid Swindle 29 Dec, 2014 @ 2:51pm
Hi literofcola. After receiving a christmas gift of "STEAM" vouchers, from her indoors, I managed to purchase the other addon packs for this amazing piece of work. You have spent a lot of time, effort, dedication and hard work on this route and I am very impressed. I drove my first train tonight along the whole route, a Duchess with 7 behind her and calling at every 2nd station. This is the best workshop route I have ever seen, well done my freind, you have a gift of proffesionalism. I hope you had a great christmas and all the very best for the new year. Thankyou for sharing with us all. Best wishes to you and your family. (COLIN.D.) Aberdeen, Scotland, U.k.

Keith 45655 21 Dec, 2014 @ 8:09am
Hi guys is this route just for quick drive ?
Or is it a standard scenario just D/loaded from workshop can only see it in QD.
Roger T 8 Nov, 2014 @ 2:37am
your route is very pleasurable, thank you :-)
JClassFan 24 Sep, 2014 @ 8:33pm
We need more routes like this!! Great work! Keep it up!
5teve0 22 Sep, 2014 @ 3:59pm
Excellent route. I have just downloaded the scenario pack from UKTS and this is quickly becoming one of my favourite routes available. It will be really nice if more scenarios are developed. I might even have to learn how to make them myself.

Thanks for your hardwork literofcola
afradwright 21 Sep, 2014 @ 6:58am
What a superb little route . Crammed with detail it delivers just the right feel for the 1950/60s. Thanks so much for sharing all your hard work. Totally recommended especially for BR steam lovers.
RolandBP 17 Sep, 2014 @ 3:32pm
I have done that for GNoSR and Crabenmore, but when My Game crashed due the Steam/DTG failure I had to dump the whole folder and do a fresh restart, so lost the ability to call it all up again via the workshop. :train2::wagon::wagon:
Class76 17 Sep, 2014 @ 6:56am
Roland there is nothing to stop you making scenarios for yourself just stick in a scenario marker and off you go. :)
RolandBP 17 Sep, 2014 @ 4:40am
Another lovely route from this Author. My only dismay is that none of the 3 great routes by this creator are still not finalized so we can run scenarios for them by great scenario creators. Awesome time periods for all 3 routes. Thanks for creative work. :train2::wagon::wagon:

Smashing little route well made captures the feeling of the era! :train2::coach::coach:
literofcola  [author] 15 Sep, 2014 @ 9:02am
Horace: I have updated the workshop version of the route to include any missing markers added since the original. Once your steam updates the route the scenarios should hopefully work.
eric111 14 Sep, 2014 @ 8:02pm
download the scenario pack of uktrainsim, but none of the scenario will load, account missing markers etc,i have all the addons required
