Shouldn't the capital be Harrisburg? Ben Franklin being from Philly has nothing to do with proper capitals.

I don't remember, but I think it is Civ IV music

Okay, so I just want to know...what is the leader scene music? Because I swear it's some kind of remix of the Holy Roman Empire theme from Civ 4.

good mod. but anyone from PA would agree, you should give a bonus to hill terains lmao. maybe production bonus but def combat bonus for the Musket men

Updated capital to Philedelphia, and added mod support for some common mods
calcul8or  [author] 29 Apr, 2016 @ 4:23pm
Probably, I'm not always historically consistent
chaymond 29 Apr, 2016 @ 1:46pm
Good mod. Just a question, though. Since the leader is Ben Franklin, shouldn't the capital be Philadelphia? (I live in PA, just wondering) :)
calcul8or  [author] 6 Apr, 2016 @ 7:14pm
This one is quite out of date. CulDiv, sure. E&D will take longer. Any suggestions for Decisions?
tmxk2012917 6 Apr, 2016 @ 7:02pm
could you add some mod support fot this? such as cultural diversity an E&D?
calcul8or  [author] 19 Mar, 2016 @ 7:02pm
It probably is, I've used Civ IV music for civs
Catty C 19 Mar, 2016 @ 4:27pm
Why does the music sound like Charlemagne's theme from Civ IV? It actually seems to be the exact seem (Though I remember it being longer originally).

Ah, I see what you were thinking. Unfortunately, making a unit only obtainable with gold is a huge nerf in and of itself. Because it still costs 460 gold, which is a hefty sum, even though it's less than it costs to purchase a generic musketman. So being able to buy them cheaper than the musketman is more than compensated for by not being able to produce them, which leaves them in need of a buff, since the overall balance on the unit is now negative.
calcul8or  [author] 30 Jan, 2016 @ 4:19am
Good feedback, thanks. I felt that since the unit could be bought, and therefore churned out quickly, that it should be nerfed.

This one was pretty decent. The UA isn't anything fancy, but it's certainly effective. Independence Hall was actually better than I expected it to be, considering unique National Wonders need to be really overpowered in order to make up for only being able to build one of them. The theming bonus and extra point of culture were a nice touch, although the free social policy is of course the big prize here. The Penn Musketman wasn't terrible, but does need to be buffed. Only being able to buy a unit with gold is a huge negative, so you have to make up for it with some major positives. This unit didn't have those, as it was actually weaker than the normal musketman. You should make it stronger than the generic musketman, in order to compensate for not being able to produce them and having to spend gold on them.

Isnt ben franklin a great scientist already?
calcul8or  [author] 17 Dec, 2014 @ 4:42pm
Yeah, I see your point. I wanted to get ole ben into the game, and Pennsylvania made the most sense.
Zhantino 17 Dec, 2014 @ 4:39pm
I think Pennsylvania should be led by William Penn, just saying

@StarBrigade - click "subscribe" above. When you start Civ V, on the main menu choose "mods", then "accept". Click the little circle to get the check mark and click next again then set up a new game. http://imgur.com/a/sfL40

Just a picture (although an excellent one by TPangolin)
PizzaMan989 31 Aug, 2014 @ 5:24pm
is that leader screen animated or is it just a picture?
Lovecraft Cat 28 Aug, 2014 @ 3:51pm
as someone who lives in this shitty state, Pa getting science from anything as a nation bonus is a huge joke.
Cappuccino 27 Aug, 2014 @ 5:17am
This is more of a Ben Franklin themed Civ. I would expect William Penn to be a more appropriate choice for a leader. +2 Faith per present Religion makes sense, for PA's history of religous toleration.
calcul8or  [author] 19 Aug, 2014 @ 7:43pm
@Craig - sorry, no
goldenfiberwheat238 19 Aug, 2014 @ 6:10pm

@Godlike1 - this wasn't by me, but here is a Cascadia
Gh0st_Note- 15 Aug, 2014 @ 1:39am
Any plans to design a Cascadian faction? Like Washington, Oregon, or Vancouver B.C.? Cascadia is obviously a combination of the three, but just wondering if you plan on designing anything like that. I can't seem to find it anywhere.
calcul8or  [author] 13 Aug, 2014 @ 9:14pm
@c00l dude - it requires BNW
Dewake 13 Aug, 2014 @ 6:22am
Does it require any expansions?
Dewmeister 12 Aug, 2014 @ 3:04pm

Benjamin Franklin 10 Aug, 2014 @ 9:36am
Also, does this require expansions?

2 Things
1: Because Philadelphia isn't the capital in real life.
2. Please make your name easier to respond to.
Nickheron 9 Aug, 2014 @ 5:12am
This is an amazing idea! It's so cool that we can play as the individual states of america, great job so far keep up the good work!
I've Been Better 8 Aug, 2014 @ 8:55am
Why not make Philadelphia the capital?
Hallowedsoul08 7 Aug, 2014 @ 9:55pm
Tell me, is this animated!? it looks great so far!

Can you post the city list?
Mundiz 5 Aug, 2014 @ 7:26am
Yey! Pennsylvania!
calcul8or  [author] 4 Aug, 2014 @ 4:31pm
@BullaFelix - it is not at this point. I may add that down the line. We do run into a problem with the various states being right on top of each other.
