That mod doesn't show on search, it's probably unlisted, so yea, it's not about not using search bar.

I have a suggestion, create an automatic turret with the flamethrower

Donked is right, on a whim i decided to try this with CE myself, putting this at the very end of the load order and the flames don't look anything like the video. It sucks because this is like, the perfect visual upgrade to how flamers should look and feel, but for right now if you want top tier flames you are stuck with the vanilla game it seems.

Does this effect the incinerator from biotech?

yes it will conflict ce already has its own flamethrower and a sepereate version you can find in the ce discord made by kesash
